    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a flexible display apparatus includes forming a flexible substrate on a carrier substrate, forming a display on a central portion of the flexible substrate, forming a protection layer covering the display, within an area of the flexible substrate, such that an edge portion of the flexible substrate is exposed outside of the protection layer, cutting a first edge portion of the flexible substrate that is exposed outside of the protection layer, except for a second remaining portion of the flexible substrate that is exposed outside of the protection layer, applying suction to the second portion of the flexible substrate, and separating the carrier substrate from the flexible substrate.

    Abstract: A window includes a substrate including a folding portion foldable with respect to a folding axis extending in a first direction. A plurality of groove patterns are defined in the folding portion. The folding portion includes a center portion and an outer portion, and the plurality of groove patterns include a first groove pattern disposed in the center portion and a second groove pattern disposed in the outer portion. The first groove pattern includes a first upper groove pattern and a first lower groove pattern, and the second groove pattern includes a second upper groove pattern and a second lower groove pattern. The first upper groove pattern and the first lower groove pattern partially overlap in the second direction, and the second upper groove pattern and the second lower groove pattern do not overlap in the second direction.

The compressive stress region includes a first compressive stress portion in which a concentration of the K+ ions decreases, a concentration of Na+ ions increases, and a concentration of the Li+ ions increases, from a surface of the window toward the base region. A second compressive stress portion is adjacent to the first compressive stress portion. In the second compressive stress portion, the concentration of the Na+ ion decreases and the concentration of the Li+ ion increases, from the first compressive stress portion toward the base region. The window thereby has a high surface compressive stress value and impact resistance.
