Abstract:
A photomask includes; a source electrode pattern including; a first electrode portion which extends in a first direction, a second electrode portion which extends in the first direction and is substantially parallel to the first electrode portion, and a third electrode portion which extends from a first end of the first electrode portion to a first end of the second electrode portion and is rounded with a first curvature, a drain electrode pattern which extends in the first direction and is disposed between the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion, wherein an end of the drain electrode pattern is rounded to correspond to the third electrode portion; and a channel region pattern which is disposed between the source electrode pattern and the drain electrode pattern, wherein a center location of the first curvature and a center location of the rounded portion of the end of the drain electrode pattern are the same.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device includes upper and lower pixels; gate lines in electrical connection with the adjacent pixels and extending in a row direction, and data lines which cross the gate lines; and a reference voltage line including a vertical portion which passes through the adjacent pixels, and horizontal portions which alternately extend from the vertical portion. Each of the adjacent pixels includes first and second thin film transistors (TFTs) each in electrical connection with a gate line and a data line which correspond to a respective pixel; and a pixel electrode including a first subpixel electrode in connection with an output terminal of the first TFT, and a second subpixel electrode in connection with an output terminal of the second TFT. The horizontal portions of the reference voltage line are in electrical connection with the second subpixel electrodes of the adjacent pixels.

Abstract:
A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate with pixel electrodes, and a second substrate with a common electrode facing the first substrate. The common electrode has depression patterns corresponding to the pixel electrodes. The side wall of each depression pattern is at an angle of 30-120 degrees with respect to the first substrate. The depression patterns of the common electrode are formed through making depression patterns at color filters. In this structure, the liquid crystal display bears wide viewing angle and good picture quality.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a thin-film transistor (TFT) panel structured to prevent the deterioration of image quality due to the luminance change of backlight. According to an embodiment, the TFT panel includes: an insulating substrate; a first gate line and a first data line which are formed on the insulating substrate to be insulated from each other and cross each other; a first subpixel electrode which is formed on the insulating substrate and connected to the first gate line and the first data line by a first TFT; a second subpixel electrode which is formed on the insulating substrate and separated from the first subpixel electrode; a connecting electrode which is directly connected to any one of the first and second subpixel electrodes and capacitively coupled to the other one of the first and second subpixel electrodes; a semiconductor pattern which is formed between the connecting electrode and the insulating substrate; and a light-shielding pattern which is formed between the semiconductor pattern and the insulating substrate, is overlapped by the connecting electrode, and blocks light.
