    Abstract: A method for fabricating a touch screen panel includes forming a metal layer on a substrate, and patterning the metal layer to form a metal pattern including a pad metal layer, a wiring metal layer, a connection metal layer, and a sensing metal layer including metal lines having a mesh shape. The method also includes forming a first transparent conductive layer on the substrate, forming an insulation layer on the first transparent conductive layer, patterning the insulation layer to form a wiring insulation layer, a connection insulation layer, and a sensing insulation layer, patterning the first transparent conductive layer to form a peripheral wiring, a connector, and a sensing electrode; forming a second transparent conductive layer on the substrate including the peripheral wiring, the connector, and the sensing electrode; and patterning the second transparent conductive layer to form a pad area and a bridge.

    Abstract: A touch panel includes: a substrate having a first region and a second region. A plurality of sensing cells are disposed in the first region and a pad portion is disposed in the second region. An insulating interlayer is disposed on the plurality of sensing cells, a connection pattern is disposed on the insulating interlayer, with the connection pattern being electrically connected to adjacent sensing cells through contact holes. A transparent conductive pattern is disposed in the second region and on the insulating interlayer, with the transparent conductive pattern being electrically connected to the plurality of sensing cells and the pad portion.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a first substrate; a display area with a plurality of pixels on the first substrate; a pad portion adjacent to a first side of the display area and including a plurality of connecting pads positioned on the first substrate; a first common power wire positioned between the display area and the pad portion and connected to a first connecting pad as at least one of the plurality of connecting pads to receive a power voltage; a second common power wire positioned adjacent to a second side of the display area facing the first side; an encapsulation layer positioned on the display area to protect the plurality of pixels; and a first path wire including one end connected to a second connecting pad of the plurality of connecting pads and the other end connected to the second common power wire and positioned on the encapsulation layer.

    Abstract: A touch screen panel includes a sensing electrode area, a pad area, and a peripheral wiring area. The sensing electrode area includes first sensing electrodes and second sensing electrodes on a touch substrate and spaced from each other. The peripheral wiring area connects the sensing electrode area to the pad area. Each of the first sensing electrodes includes a first sensing metal layer on the touch substrate, a sensing insulation layer on the first sensing metal layer, and a second sensing metal layer on the sensing insulation layer and having a mesh structure. The second sensing metal layer is thicker than the first sensing metal layer.
