    Abstract: A display device may include a first substrate, a first conductive pad, a second conductive pad, a first pad electrode, and a second pad electrode. The first substrate may include a first face and a second face. The first conductive pad may be disposed on the first face. The second conductive pad may be disposed on the first face and may be spaced from the first conductive pad. The first pad electrode may be disposed on the second face, may be electrically connected to the first conductive pad, and may include a protrusion. The second pad electrode may be disposed on the second face, may be electrically connected to the second conductive pad, may be spaced from the first pad electrode, and may include a recess. The protrusion of the first pad electrode may be partially inside the recess the second pad electrode.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a display device includes forming a mask support spaced apart from an edge of a substrate by a first distance, disposing a mask including a transmissive area and a non-transmissive area surrounding the transmissive area on the mask support, determining a display area and a peripheral area positioned at a side of the display area based on at least one of a size of the display area and a width of the non-transmissive area, and forming a light emitting layer in the display area corresponding to the transmissive area and a portion of the peripheral area using the mask.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the current disclosure to provide a display device which can reduce the number of intersections of scan lines and data lines. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, a display device comprises: a substrate; scan lines extending along a first direction; data lines extending along a second direction that intersect the first direction; a first switching element; a first pixel electrode connected to a first source electrode of the first switching element; a second switching element; and a second pixel electrode connected to a second source electrode of the second switching element. The first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are disposed along the second direction, and a first source electrode and a first drain electrode of the first switching element extend along the second direction in an area overlapping a first active layer of the first switching element.
