摘要: A headset equipped with one or more materials that can change in size to facilitate the wearing experience by the user. The change in size may provide for a more accurate fit for the user to prevent or reduce the likelihood of the headset inadvertently moving away from the user's ear (e.g., falling out from the ear canal). The changeable size may also be used to convey aspects of the received sound to provide a more powerful listening experience. The material may be constructed from an electroactive polymer that changes in size when stimulated by an electric field. The headset includes a controller with an input for a user to control the size of the material.

摘要: An electronic device (12) in a cluster (10) that has the potential to serve as a new cluster head (36) receives cluster head assistance data from a current cluster head (36) device. The cluster head assistance data includes at least one data item related to establishment of operative communication with the wireless communications network (28) over a network communications interface (26) of the electronic device. If the electronic device is assigned to be the new cluster head, it injects the at least one data item into a process related to operation of the network communications interface and establishment of the operative communication with the wireless communications network; establishes the operative communication with the wireless communications network; and carries out cluster head functions on behalf of the cluster.

摘要: Data for detected events and predicted events, associated with a user device, are stored. The detected events may be associated with inputs received via the user device, and the predicted events may represent predicted future inputs to the user device. The predicted events may be evaluated to identify an erroneous predicted event, such as a predicted event that differs significantly from a corresponding detected event or a predicted associated with a time period when no corresponding detected event occurs. The erroneous predicted events and set of other prior predicted events are selected to be discarded. For example, the selected set of prior predicted events to discard may be associated with a period of time corresponding to the erroneous predicted event. Instructions may be sent to applications executed by the user device to disregard the selected predicted events.

摘要: The disclosure relates to the technical field of capacitive touch panels and discloses a touchpen which may be used in mobile phones, computers and other devices with touch panels for writing characters, letters and other symbols. In particular it relates to a capacitive touchpen 10 for inputting information into an electronic device 1 through touching of a capacitive touch panel 30, the capacitive pen comprising an elongated body member 11 comprising a conductive part 13 and a tip 12 disposed at one end of the body member 11 having a contact surface 14 for contacting the capacitive touch panel 30. The conductive part 13 is configured such that the distortion of the touch panel's electrostatic field caused by the conductive part 13 when changing the position of the touchpen 10 in relation to the capacitive touch panel 30, when the contact surface is kept in contact with the touch panel 30, is sufficient to register a change in capacitance by the capacitive touch panel 30. The disclosure further relates to methods for detecting the position of a touch pen as well as to an electronic device and a computer program.

摘要: A device, having a touch screen display, performs a mutual capacitance scan of rows and columns of an array of capacitive touch sensors associated with the touch screen display. The device selects a subset of the rows, and a subset of the columns, of the array of capacitive touch sensors, and performs a self capacitance scan of the selected subset of the rows, and the selected subset of the columns, of the array of capacitive touch sensors based on results of the mutual capacitance scan. The device identifies an accidental or false touch input on the touch screen display based on results of the self capacitance scan.
