摘要: The present disclosure relates to medicament injection devices. An injection device includes: a movable dosage programming component comprising a rotary encoder system having a predefined angular periodicity, a sensor arrangement including a first optical sensor configured to detect movement of the movable dosage programming component relative to the sensor arrangement during dosing of a medicament, wherein the first optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a first frequency, a second optical sensor configured to detect movement of the rotary encoder system relative to the second optical sensor wherein the second optical sensor is configured to operate in a strobe-sampling mode at a second frequency lower than the first frequency, and a processor arrangement configured to, based on the detected movement, determine a medicament dosage administered by the injection device.

摘要: A computerized electro-mechanical drug delivery device configured to deliver at least one dose of two or more medicaments. The device comprises a control unit. An electro-mechanical drive unit is operably coupled to the control unit and a primary reservoir for a first medicament and a secondary reservoir for a fluid agent, e.g. a second medicament. An operator interface is in communication with the control unit. A single dispense assembly is configured for fluid communication with the primary and the secondary reservoir. Activation of the operator panel sets a first dose from the primary reservoir and based on the first dose and a therapeutic dose profile, the control unit is configured to determine a dose or range of the fluid agent. Alternatively, the control unit determines or calculates a dose or range of a third medicament. Further, a dispense interface for use with a drug delivery device is disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus comprising an electromechanical device, a control unit, a main control unit and a motion detector, wherein said control unit is configured to control said electromechanical device. The invention also relates to a method for operating an apparatus with a main control unit, a control unit and an electromechanical device. The technical problem of providing an apparatus with an electromechanical device, the reliability of which is improved, is solved by an apparatus wherein the main control unit is configured to provide information to the control unit. The motion detector and the main control unit are configured such that information about the movement of the electromechanical device is provided by the motion detector at least to the main control unit. The technical problem is also solved by a method for operating an apparatus, in particular an apparatus or medical device according to the invention.

摘要: The invention resides in a hand-held medicament delivery device which comprises a housing containing a first electrical circuit and a battery, a medicament delivery mechanism, and a protective cap releasably securable to the housing. The housing also includes a contactless switch and the cap a switch actuator. The switch is operable between an on state in which the first electrical circuit is connected to the battery and an off state in which the first electrical circuit is disconnected from the battery. The invention also resides in a method of controlling power in a hand held medicament delivery device comprising the steps of actuating a contactless switch in the housing by an actuator in a housing cap when the switch and actuator are in proximity, the actuation of the switch signalling to a microprocessor that the cap is on the housing, detecting the status of the device by the microprocessor, and only if the microprocessor determines the device is inactive, powering down the device.
