    Abstract: A method for providing a UI and a portable apparatus applying the same are provided. The method for providing the UI of the portable apparatus includes determining whether motion of shaking the portable apparatus a predetermined number of times is input or not using a sensor included in the portable apparatus, and, if the motion of shaking the portable apparatus the predetermined number of times is input, providing haptic feedback according to a number of pieces of information displayed on a notice window of the portable apparatus. Accordingly, if a predetermined event occurs, haptic feedback corresponding to the predetermined event is provided, so that the user can identify the event without seeing a display.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile device and a control method thereof. The mobile device includes a communication interface configured to perform communication via a network; a display configured to display an image; and a processor. The processor is configured to process a signal transmitted or received by the communication interface, control the display to display the image based on the processed signal, control the communication interface to transmit device information of the mobile device to a server, wherein the mobile device is able to receive a message from a remote device through the communication interface, based on the server receiving reference information indicating that the remote device is set to a condition where the remote device is unable to receive the message, receive the message from the server, wherein the message is received through a counterpart device, and process the message to transmit a command to the remote device, such that the server remotely controls the remote device to transmit information requested by a user of the counterpart device corresponding to the command to the counterpart device.
