Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic device for performing authentication by using biometric information and an operating method thereof, the electronic device comprising: a first biometric sensor for acquiring biometric information by a first method; a second biometric sensor for acquiring the biometric information or other biometric data by a second method; a display; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to acquire context information relating to the first method and the second method, select at least one method from the first method and the second method on the basis of at least a part of the context information, and display at least one graphic object corresponding to the at least one authentication method through the display.
