摘要: A magnetic parking sensor including a detection device for detecting geomagnetic measured values in the region of a parking space in three coordinates; a first-in, first-out memory device into which the geomagnetic measured values are loadable; and an ascertainment device. The ascertainment device is configured to map the x and y components of the geomagnetic measured values into complex numbers, the complex numbers being ascertainable depending on the variability of the defined number of the geomagnetic measured values; to define a number system having a defined number of elements in accordance with the variability of the geomagnetic measured value and of the complex numbers; and to ascertain an availability state of the parking space by ascertaining a root λn of the polynomial λ3−(2n−1)λ2−(n−1)2λ−(n2+1), where n=variability of the geomagnetic measured values, λ=auxiliary variable of the number theory.

摘要: A device for checking a wheel of a rail car for flat spots. The device includes a microelectromechanical microphone for acquiring measured air-borne sound values within a first time span. In addition, the device includes a processing unit, which is configured to determine, as a function of the measured air-borne sound values acquired, if the wheel has a flat spot. The essence of the present invention is that the device includes an acoustic waveguide. In addition, the device takes the form of a mobile device and may be situated on or in the rail car in such a manner, that air-borne sound, which is radiated at a boundary surface, as air-borne sound, by structure-borne sound propagating through the rail car, is transmitted to the microphone by the acoustic waveguide. Also described is a related method for checking a wheel of a rail car for flat spots.

摘要: A method for fault tree analysis of a technical system, which includes a plurality of functional units, the technical system being modeled as a tree-like logical linkage of causative events, which may culminate in an undesirable event, and the causative events including malfunctions of individual functional units, a tree-like logical linkage having a self-similar structure being selected. An associated computer program is described. A surroundings detection system and/or a control system for an at least partially automated driving vehicle, including a plurality of functional units having mutual dependencies, which link the functional units in a tree-like structure in such a way that an undesirable event occurs if a logical linkage of causative events is true, the causative events including malfunctions of individual functional units, the tree-like structure being self-similar.

摘要: An event recognition method, for example that is performed by a device that includes a sensor unit and a processing unit, includes detecting at least one measured value pattern; multifractally determining a Hölder exponent based on the first measured value pattern; determining a mother wavelet based on the Hölder exponent; obtaining a plurality of sensor measured values within a time period; generate transformed measured values by wavelet transformation of the detected measured values using the determined mother wavelet; identifying occurrence of the event based on a determination that at least one of the transformed measured values exceeds a limiting value; and generating a signal signaling the identification of the occurrence of the event.

摘要: A method for rating the relevance of a test case for assessing the behavior of a technical system, whose dynamics are described by a scalar dynamics function in the current state of the system, in the control currently impressed upon the system, as well as in the time. In the method: an optimized control problem is set up, in which the scalar dynamics function and/or an integral thereof with respect to time, is to be minimized under the boundary condition that the dynamics of the technical system in the first order is limited to a function; it is ascertained how closely the test case approaches a solution of the optimized control problem; and the closer the test case approaches a solution of the optimized control problem, the more relevant the test case is rated for the assessment of the behavior of the technical system.

摘要: A device for detecting a driving event of a vehicle, having a triaxial acceleration sensor and a processing unit. The device may be fixedly installed on the vehicle. The processing unit is configured to detect a plurality of acceleration values within a specific time span using the acceleration sensor, carry out a wavelet transform of the acceleration values to determine first coefficients, and compare the first coefficients at least to stored second coefficients. The second coefficients represent a predefined driving event. The processing unit is configured to detect the driving event represented by the second coefficients as an occurred driving event when the first coefficients are in agreement with the second coefficients, and is configured to determine characteristic parameters of the detected acceleration values, to ascertain a specific mother wavelet as a function of the characteristic parameters, and to carry out the wavelet transform based on the ascertained mother wavelet.
