摘要： A modular plastic wall block to be used for forming a retaining wall including a plurality of vertically superimposed courses, each course including a plurality of laterally juxtaposed wall blocks. Each wall block is formed of a wall block frame and an easily replaceable facing panel interconnected by a tongue and groove connection. By rotating the facing panel by 90.degree., it can be used to overly and conceal at least a portion of the top of an uppermost course of wall blocks in the retaining wall. The wall blocks include elements for side-to-side connection enabling juxtaposed wall blocks in each course to be laterally aligned to form a straight portion of a face of a retaining wall, or to be angularly positioned to form concave or convex portions of the face of the retaining wall without the formation of gaps between adjacent wall blocks. Spacing tabs are removably carried by each wall block to enable the user to selectively adjust the spacing between the point of engagement between superimposed wall blocks and the front faces of the block below for the formation of vertical or stepped back retaining wall faces.

摘要： Various embodiments include methods and systems to dilute a sampled particle-laden aerosol stream. In one embodiment, a system to dilute a sampled aerosol stream includes an aerosol sample inlet. A filter is coupled in fluid communication with and in parallel with a flow-monitoring device to receive the sampled aerosol stream from the aerosol sample inlet. The flow-monitoring device is configured to allow for a passage of particles contained in the sampled aerosol stream. A pressure sensor and a temperature sensor monitor the filter and the flow-monitoring device. An output from the filter and the flow-monitoring device may be directed to particle measurement or particle sizing instrumentation. An actual dilution ratio of the output sent to the particle measurement or particle sizing instrumentation is determined based on a nominal flowrate of the flow-monitoring device and thermodynamic properties of a gas comprising the aerosol stream. Other methods and apparatuses are disclosed.

A base is provided and the base is positioned on a support surface. A pole is coupled to the base and a flag is coupled to and extends laterally away from the pole. The flag enhances visibility of the base. An adhesive pad is positioned on the base. The adhesive pad adheres to the remote control when the remote control is positioned on the base. In this way the remote control is easily located when the remote control is not being used.

摘要： An apparatus for driving an articulating probe comprises an elongate probe constructed and arranged to articulate in at least one predetermined degree of motion and to transition from a flexible state to a rigid state, and a force transfer mechanism constructed and arranged to apply a force to the probe. The force is selected from the group consisting of a force that causes probe to articulate in the at least one predetermined degree of motion and a force that causes the probe to transition from the flexible state to the rigid state. The base structure is attached to portion of the force transfer mechanism and the elongate probe; the base structure comprising one or more stabilizing elements constructed and arranged to resist undesired movement of the probe caused by force from the force transfer mechanism.

In an embodiment, each pixel of an image is texture mapped to a three dimensional model. A time offset mask for the image and a value representing a speed of the camera are received. A sleeve removeably mounted inside the gas block has: a gas conduit; a seat near the gas conduit; a projection; and a rod conduit communicating gas through the projection. A rod movably mounted in the gas block has a cup fitting over the projection.A valve has a knob coupleable to the gas block and a plug moveable within the pressure sleeve with a plunger engageable with the seat to adjust gas flow through the gas conduit to the rod conduit. Gas discharged from a fired cartridge flows against the cup to drive the rod to reload the firearm. The plug is moveable by the knob to a plurality of positions to alter the gas conveyed to the rod.

The sighting device includes a housing and an adjustable light source mounted within and protected by the housing, wherein the light source projects a fixed line of visible light along the predetermined line of cut. 摘要： A device for cutting paper or other materials is provided. This device includes a substantially flat base, wherein the base is adapted to receive paper and other flat material for cutting. A manually-operated cutting blade assembly is pivotally attached to either the right or left side of the base. The cutting blade assembly includes an elongated cutting arm positioned over a predetermined line of cut on the base. A sighting device is mounted on the base on the same side as the elongated cutting arm and further includes a housing and an adjustable light source mounted within and protected by the housing. The light source projects a fixed line of visible light along the predetermined line of cut. A switch is included for activating and deactivating the light source. A first portion of the switch is located in the handle grip and a second portion of the switch is located within the housing. The light source is activated when the elongated cutting arm is raised and is deactivated when the elongated cutting arm is lowered.
