Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling the movement of a vehicle side window. The side window is movable by way of a window lifter, of a side door of a motor vehicle. The side window is automatically moved by the window lifter into a predetermined intermediate position as a function of a movement of the side door, the intermediate position deviating from a completely closed or lowered position of the side window. To prevent rattling noises due to the side window, starting from the completely lowered position of the side window, the side window is raised into the intermediate position at least when closing the side door. In this intermediate position, the side window with its upper window edge is moved in at least some sections into a sealing gap which is situated on a railing of the side door.
Abstract:
A retaining clip, especially for automotive bodies, comprises a foot section and a head part, the head part having a retainer section for at least one structural component to be secured and the foot section being insertable in a final mounting position into an opening in a body part and secured thereto. In this way, even in the case of difficult construction space conditions, i.e., when two components cannot be positioned relative to each other in an accessible position in the final mounting position, the retaining clip pre-mounted on the structural component to be secured has a tensioning element by means of which the retaining clip can be moved from pre-mounting position A via intermediate positions into final mounting position B.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for controlling the movement of a vehicle side window. The side window is movable by means of a window lifter operated by outside force, of a side door of a motor vehicle. The side window is automatically moved by the window lifter into a predetermined intermediate position as a function of a movement of the side door, the intermediate position deviating from a completely closed or lowered position of the side window. To prevent rattling noises due to the side window, starting from a completely lowered position of the side window, the side window is raised into the intermediate position at least when closing the side door. Abstract:
An operating device for a motor vehicle lock having a door lock actuator includes a grip plate and a grip with one bearing arm that extends through the grip plate and is swivellably linked to a rear side of the grip plate by means of a bearing block by way of a plug-type shaft. A securing element for the plug-type shaft secures the latter against sliding-out. A protective covering, which at least partially covers the rear side of the grip plate, has at least one extension that serves as a securing element and is situated next to an end of the plug-type shaft.
Abstract:
A hinge for motor vehicle hood, trunk lids or the like where a plurality of arms are connected by pivot-forming rivets and spacer rings are provided between the arms with at least one of the spacer rings being made of a thermoplastic material and the hinge being annealed after the setting of the rivet about which the thermoplastic spacer ring is located. As a result, prestressing of the thermoplastic spacer ring created by the rivet setting is relieved. Spacer rings are provided between the original head of each rivet and an adjacent one of said arms as well as at an opposite side of the adjacent arms. Furthermore, the thickness of the spacing ring located at the side of the adjacent arms opposite from the original rivet head is of a thickness approximately double that of the spacer ring that is located between the original rivet and said adjacent arm.
