摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information identifying a set of cells configured for conditional handover (CHO). The UE may identify one or more features associated with a cell. The UE may monitor one or more cells of the set of cells, wherein the one or more cells are associated with the one or more features, and wherein the one or more cells are prioritized over cells not associated with the one or more features in the cell search. The UE may initiate a handover to an identified cell based at least in part on the cell search. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: Techniques for optimized HARQ recombining are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a method for wireless communication comprises receiving a broadcast message to determine a timing of a transmission window, receiving at least one transmission within the transmission window, and determining whether the at least one transmission is successfully decoded. The method further comprises instructing a lower protocol layer to ignore remaining transmissions within the transmission window upon a determination that the at least one transmission is successfully decoded, wherein the remaining transmissions and the at least one transmission comprise duplicate copies of a message segment.

摘要: In various embodiments, a wireless device processor may determine a threat score for a first cell, determine whether the first cell threat score is below a first threat score threshold, update a good neighbor cell data structure using neighbor cell information from the first cell in response to determining that the first cell threat score is below the first threat score threshold, performing cell reselection to a second cell, determine whether the second cell transmits a system information block message indicating fake neighbor cell information, and increase a threat score for the second cell in response to determining that the second cell provides the SIB message indicating fake neighbor cell information and that a good neighbor cell data structure includes an indication of one or more good neighbor cells that are within the time threshold and the location threshold and doing countermeasures in a response to the determination.

摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus selects an LTE serving cell and a non-LTE serving cell. Measurement objects corresponding thereto are identified based on a review of broadcasted system information and historical information relating to prior serving cells. The apparatus identifies measurement objects from other radio access technologies (RATs) (WCDMA, CDMA, GSM). The remaining measurement objects may be identified based on measurement identifiers. The apparatus performs wireless measurements based on the selected serving cells and identified measurement objects. The resulting measurements are transmitted to the network for use in determining channel conditions.

摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus performs a handover from a source cell to a target cell. The apparatus determines a decoding timer value based on network conditions. The apparatus attempts to decode a MIB or a SIB from the target cell within a time after the handover corresponding to the decoding timer value. The apparatus triggers a radio link failure (RLF) when the MIB or the SIB is not decoded within the time corresponding to the decoding timer value.

An exemplary method performed by a UE includes communicating with a first base station (BS) via a connection of a first radio access technology (RAT), determining, based on the first RAT, to omit a set of capabilities of the UE from capabilities information of the UE regarding a second RAT, transmitting the capabilities information of the UE regarding the second RAT to the first BS via the first RAT, communicating with a second BS via the second RAT according to the capabilities information, and sending an update of the capabilities information of the UE regarding the second RAT via the second RAT.

摘要: Techniques for optimized cell acquisition for long term evolution (LTE) time division duplex (TDD) systems or closed subscriber group (CSG)/evolved Multicast Broadcast Multimedia Service (eMBMS) capable user equipments (UEs) are disclosed. A UE obtains configuration information, CSG capability information, and/or eMBMS capability information for a cell. The UE also stores the obtained information for the cell in a cell information database. In some aspects, the UE may employ the CSG and/or eMBMS capability information to select a weaker cell, during initial frequency scan at power up of the UE, based on cell capability. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may employ the configuration information to determine an initial mutual information (Mi) hypothesis value for physical hybrid-automatic repeat request (HART) indicator channel (PHICH) group mapping of the cell. Additionally or alternative, radio link failures and/or out of synch events may be predicted and proactive responses employed based on previously obtained solutions.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for enhanced radio resource control (RRC) reestablishment in a communication system include addressing repeated radio link failures (RLFs). For example, the methods and apparatus include incrementing a counter value associated with a first cell based on a detection of a RLF by a user equipment (UE) in a RRC connected state with the first cell. The methods and apparatus further include determining that the counter value meets or exceeds a first barring threshold value within a cell barring evaluation time duration. Additionally, the methods and apparatus include prohibiting the UE from performing an RRC reestablishment procedure with the first cell for a first barring time duration.

The cell-specific information may include one or more respective cell parameters associated with at least some if not each cell of the subset of cells. The UE-preferred cell information may include one or more respective preferred cell parameters. The UE may transmit a cell measurement report (205) including an indication of one or more cells of the subset of cells based on the one or more cells of the subset of cells satisfying one or more cell measurement report criteria.
