    Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and systems for recognizing misbehavior detection in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) maneuver coordination message. Various embodiments may include a V2X system of a vehicle receiving a maneuver coordination message, performing a test for misbehavior on the maneuver coordination message, and taking an action in response to the test identifying misbehavior associated with the maneuver coordination message. Various embodiments may include a network computing device of a V2X network receiving a plurality of maneuver coordination messages from a plurality of vehicles, identifying an inconsistency among the plurality of maneuver coordination messages, identifying a misbehavior condition in response to identifying the inconsistency among the plurality of maneuver coordination messages, and taking an action in response to identifying the misbehavior condition.

    Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods executed by a processor of a vehicle for presenting relevant warnings to a vehicle operator, including receiving a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication including information regarding a V2X-identified threat, determining whether the vehicle operator has not recognized the V2X-identified threat, determining a display location that is most likely to receive the vehicle operator's attention in response to determining that the vehicle operator has not recognized the V2X-identified threat, and generating an alert regarding the V2X-identified threat on the determined display location. The generated alert regarding the V2X-identified threat on the determined display location may exclude alerts regarding any threat conditions that the processor has determined that the vehicle operator has recognized.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device may detect vehicle-to-everything (V2X) fuzzing attacks. The communication device may receive a set of packets. Each packet of the set of packets includes a set of information element (IE) fields. The communication device determine a change to one or more IE fields of the set of IE fields and associated with at least a subset of packets of the set of packets based on comparing a respective value associated with each of the one or more IE fields to a respective default value associated with each of the one or more IE fields. As a result, the communication device may transmit a report indicating a plurality of fuzzing attacks at the communication device.

    Abstract: In various embodiments, a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) processing device detecting a misbehavior condition in a system of the vehicle, and prevent the vehicle from sending a V2X message related to the detected misbehavior condition in response to detecting the misbehavior condition in the system of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the V2X processing device may receive information from a plurality of information sources of the vehicle, and may detect the misbehavior condition in the system of the vehicle by performing a cross-check of information received from the plurality of information sources of the vehicle to detect an inconsistency within the received information.
