Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus receives indication of a transmission scheme for decoding multicast/broadcast data transmitted from a sender, receives a reservation signal for the multicast/broadcast data from the sender, determines whether the receiver is capable of decoding the multicast/broadcast data at the indicated transmission scheme, and transmits a confirmation signal for the multicast/broadcast data to the sender after determining that the receiver is capable of decoding the multicast/broadcast data at the indicated transmission scheme. The apparatus receives the multicast/broadcast data according to the transmission scheme after the confirmation signal is transmitted. Alternatively, the apparatus suppresses transmission of the confirmation signal when it is determined that the receiver is not capable of decoding the multicast/broadcast data at the indicated transmission scheme.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are described. The apparatus wirelessly transmits a reservation signal intended for a plurality of receivers for scheduling a broadcast/multicast data transmission, monitors for a confirmation signal from at least one of the plurality of receivers, wirelessly transmits the broadcast/multicast data transmission to the plurality of receivers if the confirmation signal is received, and suppresses transmission of the broadcast/multicast data to the plurality of receivers if the confirmation signal is not received. In some embodiments, the apparatus further determines at least one of a number of received confirmation signals or a signal strength of a received confirmation signal from the at least one of the plurality of receivers, and suppresses transmission of the broadcast/multicast data based on the determined at least one of the number of received confirmation signals or the signal strength of the received confirmation signal.
Abstract:
The claimed subject matter relates to systems and methods for processing messages in a wireless communications environment. In an aspect, a communications method is provided. The method includes initiating a registration with a network domain node and generating sequence information with respect to the registration. The sequence information is then employed to facilitate further communications with the network domain node.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate to network management in communication networks, including but not limited to wireless communication networks including integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes within an IAB backhaul network. For example, a network node may determine to integrate a peer node, to which the network node has physical connectivity, into a network routing domain of which the routing node is a member. In another example, a network node may determine to truncate a peer node from a network routing domain. In various examples, the decisions to propagate or truncate the network routing domain may be made based on routing messages within a network routing domain, or in a plurality of overlapping network routing domains. In further examples, the decisions may be based on information about physical links between respective nodes.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate to network management and routing protocols in communication networks, including but not limited to wireless communication networks including Integrated-Access-Backhaul (IAB) nodes within an IAB network. In some examples, one or more traffic flows between an IAB node and a remote network may be migrated from a first tunnel associated with a first network routing domain to a second tunnel associated with a second routing domain in accordance with route information pertaining to each of the network routing domains. In various examples, the migration may be performed in response to a failure of a wireless link in the IAB network, while in other examples, the migration may be performed in response to congestion or overloading of an IAB node.

Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus may be a data source determining to send a multicast transmission for a multicast group having a multicast group identifier, wirelessly communicating an expression with at least one node in the multicast group, the expression based on the multicast group identifier, and sending the multicast transmission to the at least one node. The apparatus may a data receiver determining to receive a multicast transmission for a multicast group having a multicast group identifier, wirelessly communicating an expression with a data source in the multicast group, the expression based on the multicast group identifier, and receiving the multicast transmission from the data source.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus, and systems for wireless communication are provided. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes establishing a connection between the UE and an attachment node of a wireless mesh network. The wireless mesh network can include a plurality of interconnected mesh nodes and a first local anchor of a radio access network. The method can also include establishing a bearer between the UE and a global anchor of the radio access network, and communicating with a core network using the bearer. Bearer traffic may be carried through the wireless mesh network and relayed through the first local anchor. The bearer traffic may be carried through the wireless mesh network on a path determined by a routing plane of the wireless mesh network. The routing plane may be maintained using a distributed routing protocol. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
