    摘要: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine a plurality of measurement gap (MG) configurations, each MG configuration defining one or more MGs. The UE may send, to a serving base station, a request to use a first MG configuration from the plurality of MG configurations, and may receive a response to the first request. The UE then measures positioning signals using an MG configuration indicated by the response. Based on measurements of the first set of positioning signals, the UE may select a second MG configuration, send a second request to use the second MG configuration, and receive a response to the second request. The UE then measures a second set of positioning signals using an MG configuration indicated by the response to the second request.

    摘要: A method of managing positioning reference signal transmission includes: instructing a transmission point to apply a muting pattern regarding transmission of a reference signal including first and second reference signal resources, where a first instance of the first reference signal resource includes one or more first resource elements across one or more first OFDM symbols within a slot, and a second instance of the second reference signal resource includes one or more second resource elements across one or more second OFDM symbols within the slot; and instructing the transmission point to transmit, unmuted, at least one of the one or more second resource elements, of at least one of the one or more second OFDM symbols, despite the muting pattern indicating to mute transmission of the at least one of the one or more second resource elements of the at least one of the one or more second OFDM symbols.

    摘要: A UE receives a first configuration for at least one RRM measurement gap. The UE receives one or more PRSs prior to the at least one RRM measurement gap. The UE identifies whether a processing availability of the UE during the at least one RRM measurement gap is sufficient to process the one or more PRSs. The UE processes the one or more PRSs, where in response to the processing availability of the UE during the at least one RRM measurement gap, the one or more PRSs are processed during the at least one RRM measurement gap; and in response to lack of the processing availability of the UE sufficient to process the one or more PRSs during the at least one RRM measurement gap, the one or more PRSs are processed, at least in part, outside of the at least one RRM measurement gap.
