    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a wireless device may measure a first portion of a cyclic prefix (CP) of a wireless transmission received using a first subset of a set of analog receive elements. The wireless device may measure a second portion of the CP of the wireless transmission using a second subset of the set of analog receive elements. The wireless device may determine a beam gain for the set of analog receive elements based on measuring the first portion of the CP received using the first subset and the second portion of the CP received using the second subset. In some examples, measuring using the first subset and the second subset may be associated with improved automatic gain control performance and/or transmission power control as compared to measuring with each of a set of analog receive elements.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may obtain a first channel matrix associated with communications between a transmitter device transmission antenna and a transmitter device reception antenna and a second channel matrix associated with communications between the transmitter device transmission antenna and a receiver device reception antenna associated with a receiver device. The transmitter device may generate a combined channel matrix based at least in part on the first channel matrix and the second channel matrix. The transmitter device may reduce interference between the transmitter device transmission antenna and the transmitter device reception antenna based at least in part on multiplying the combined channel matrix by a precoding matrix.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may manage a shape of a beam to selectively reduce interference at one or more wireless nodes. The base station may receive a capability message from a first wireless node indicating a capability of the first wireless node to support one or more beam tapering configurations. In some cases, the base station may receive an interference report from a second wireless node, indicating that the first wireless node caused interference at the second wireless node. The base station may transmit a beam tapering configuration of the one or more beam tapering configurations to the first wireless node, and the first wireless node may transmit a beamformed message to the base station according to the beam tapering configuration. In some cases, the beam tapering configuration may be associated with less interference when transmitting the beamformed message.

The network node may transmit, to a UE, a first indication of the reference AM/PM impairment signature via a security signal.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for digital pre-distortion (DPD). An apparatus for wireless communication generally includes a power amplifier (PA); a first DPD circuit, a second DPD circuit, and a transmitter. The first DPD circuit is generally configured to: obtain an input signal; apply a first DPD to the input signal to generate a first resulting signal; and output the first resulting signal to the second DPD circuit. The second DPD circuit is generally configured to: obtain the first resulting signal from the first DPD circuit; apply a second DPD to the first resulting signal to generate a second resulting signal; and output the second resulting signal to the PA. The PA is generally configured to amplify the second resulting signal to generate an amplified second resulting signal. The transmitter is generally configured to transmit the amplified second resulting signal to a second apparatus.
