    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide timing advance validation for secondary cell (SCell) activation. Prior to receiving a SCell de-activation message associated with a SCell, a user equipment (UE) may determine a TA value for uplink transmissions to the SCell, and the UE may determine a first signal quality metric associated with wireless communication between the UE and the SCell. The UE may receive the SCell de-activation message, and, at a later time, may receive a SCell activation message. The UE may determine whether the TA value determined prior to receipt of the SCell de-activation message is valid for the wireless communications between the UE and the SCell based on a difference between the first signal quality metric and a second signal quality metric determined after receipt of the SCell activation message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a configuration including a parameter indicating a quantity of scheduled measurement gaps that may be used for performing measurements. The UE may apply the parameter by suppressing one or more measurement gaps and may receive data from the network entity via one or more time resources (e.g., a slot, a symbol) associated with the suppressed measurement gaps. The UE may perform measurements during the measurement gaps that are not dropped. In some examples, the network entity may configure the parameter based on scheduled data traffic, one or more criteria associated with the UE satisfying a threshold, or any combination thereof. In some examples, the UE may stop applying the parameter based on a timer, an event trigger, or both.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE receives, from a network entity, a channel state information (CSI) report configuration including a set of sub-configurations. Each sub-configuration in the set of sub-configurations corresponds to a transmission setting associated with a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS). The UE further determines one or more CSIs respectively corresponding to a subset of the set of sub-configurations, and transmits, based on the transmission setting corresponding a first sub-configuration of the subset of sub-configurations, a reduced content of a CSI report or refrains from transmitting the CSI report. The CSI report is associated with a first CSI for the first sub-configuration.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for altitude-dependent measurement and reporting configurations are described.     Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE monitors a serving cell through one or more active transmission configuration indication (TCI) states of the serving cell, and monitors a reference signal associated with one or more partially active TCI states of a non-serving cell for lower-layer triggered mobility (LTM). The UE further performs the LTM handover to change the serving cell in response to an LTM command and based on at least one of the partially active TCI states and the active TCI states. The method enables the UE to use a partially active TCI state to monitor a reference signal of candidate cells for LTM. It substantially reduces the LTM HO delay and interruption length during an LTM HO. Hence, it improves the efficiency of wireless communication.
