Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive radio link control (RLC) protocol data units (PDUs) within a receive window. Additionally, the UE may receive an uplink grant indicating a set of resources. Based on the set of resources, the UE may transmit a STATUS PDU including a single field that indicates a sequence number (SN) of a first PDU the UE received but unsuccessfully decoded within the receive window. Alternatively, the UE may transmit STATUS PDU segments based on which PDUs the UE receives and the quantity resources in the uplink grant. In some cases, the UE may transmit a STATUS PDU that includes a first field to indicate an SN of a first PDU the UE received but unsuccessfully decoded within the receive window, and one or more offset fields that indicate SNs of respective PDUs subsequent to the first PDU.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for transmitting a propagation delay compensation (PDC) report and a reference signal resource for performing one or more round trip timing (RTT) measurements associated with the PDC report. The UE may receive control signaling from the base station which includes a request for the UE to transmit the PDC report which includes the one or more RTT measurements. The UE may transmit the PDC report based on receiving the request from the base station, and the UE may perform one or more PDC procedures based on transmitting the PDC report. In some other examples, the base station may transmit a request to a higher layer to obtain the RTT measurements, and may relay the RTT measurements to the UE for performing the PDC procedures.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may establish a user plane adaptation protocol (UPAP) with a second wireless device. Accordingly, when generating a message to transmit to the second wireless device, the first wireless device may use a UPAP layer entity to insert a main header and/or one or more service headers onto network layer traffic. The main header may be common to multiple deployments and the service header may be unique to each deployment and/or to each packet. The one or more service headers may be used to perform Quality of Service (QOS) handling, to expose UPAP programmability to services and gateway, to perform on-path header updates, to indicate instructions or rules, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first network node associated with an anchor cell, first system information (SI) associated with the anchor cell and proxy information associated with obtaining second SI. The UE may obtain the second SI based on the proxy information. The UE may communicate with the non-anchor cell based on the second SI. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a set of repetitions of a preamble message, wherein the preamble message is a portion of a first random access channel (RACH) message of a RACH procedure. The UE may receive a random access channel response (RAR) message in an RAR window of the RACH procedure, wherein the RAR window is included in a set of RAR windows for monitoring for the RAR message, and wherein at least one RAR window, of the set of RAR windows, starts after transmission of a first repetition, of the set of repetitions, and before transmission of a last repetition of the set of repetitions. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication, configuration, or adaptation of a triggering condition. The UE may evaluate a performance effect based, at least in part, on the triggering condition. The UE may initiate a handover procedure from a source cell to a target cell based, at least in part, on the performance effect. Numerous other aspects are described.
