    Abstract: In a case where an apparatus that is moved by a user is moved in a vertical direction, when a distance from an object located in the same two-dimensional position as the apparatus and directly underneath the apparatus is greater than a height, which corresponds to the two-dimensional position and which possibly damages the apparatus when the apparatus falls, a display is caused to perform a first display and a speaker is caused to output a first sound. When the distance is equal to or shorter than the height, the display is caused to perform a second display and the speaker is caused to output a second sound.

    Abstract: When speech of a first user includes a first word that is stored in a memory and associated with the first user, it is determined whether or not a difference between a first time and a second time is equal to or less than a predetermined time. The first time is a current time at which the first user spoke the first word. The second time is a time at which a second user last spoke a second word associated with the first word. When the difference between the first time and the second time is equal to or less than the predetermined time, a speaker outputs speech of a same content associated with the first word and the second word.

    Abstract: A voice recognition method is provided that includes extracting a first speech from the sound collected with a microphone connected to a voice processing device, and calculating a recognition result for the first speech and the confidence level of the first speech. The method also includes performing a speech for a repetition request based on the calculated confidence level of the first speech, and extracting with the microphone a second speech obtained through the repetition request. The method further includes calculating a recognition result for the second speech and the confidence level of the second speech, and generating a recognition result from the recognition result for the first speech and the recognition result for the second speech, based on the confidence level of the calculated second speech.
