Abstract: Cooking device includes heating chamber with door for housing object to be heated, vapor generator for supplying vapor into heating chamber, and water storage tank. Cooking device further includes cooling air passage provided between heating chamber and water storage tank and allowing cooling air to pass therethrough, and air inlet provided to the side of door and introducing cooling air into cooling air passage. This enables cooling, using a smaller and more inexpensive cooling fan. As a result, cooking device is made shorter in overall height.

Abstract: A steam generator according to the present invention includes a boiler, a water supply pipe, a drainage pipe, and a steam supply pipe. The boiler has a first side wall, a second side wall, a bottom wall, a water inlet, a drain outlet, and a steam discharge port. The water supply pipe is connected to the water inlet, and supplies water to the boiler. The drainage pipe is connected to the drain outlet, and extends to a drainage pipe outlet positioned below the drain outlet by way of a curved portion thereof having a shape projecting upward from the drain outlet. The steam supply pipe is connected to the steam discharge port, and supplies steam generated by the boiler to a cavity. The bottom wall has an inner bottom surface downwardly inclined from the first side wall toward the second side wall which faces the first side wall. The water inlet is formed in the first side wall in a vicinity of the inner bottom surface, and the drain outlet is formed in the second side wall at a position in the vicinity of the inner bottom surface and lower than the water inlet.

Abstract: A heat-cooking apparatus according to the present invention includes a heating chamber for heating a food product, a steam generator for generating steam, and a steam channel provided in the heating chamber for guiding steam generated by the steam generator. The heat-cooking apparatus further includes a loading table for disposing a heat-target object, which is raised from a bottom surface of the heating chamber to create a predetermined gap, and a loading table opening portion provided on the loading table for guiding steam from the steam channel to the heat-target object. Steam generated by the steam generator passes through the steam channel and the loading table opening portion to heat the heat-target object. Therefore, without requiring a steamer, steam cooking can easily be performed.

Abstract: A steam generator includes: a water storage chamber which stores water therein, a heater which heats inside the water storage chamber to generate steam, a water supply device which supplies the water storage chamber with water, a steam spout port which ejects steam generated in the water storage chamber therethrough, a temperature detector which detects a temperature in the water storage chamber, and a controller which controls the heater and the water supply device, wherein after the start of the heating by the heater, the controller determines if water storage is completed in the water storage chamber based on the temperature detected by the temperature detector.
