    Abstract: A vehicle approach notification system includes a filter; a notification sound controller which generates a signal corresponding to a notification sound for notifying of approaching of a vehicle, based on a sound signal obtained from a notification-sound sound source; and a setter which obtains vehicle information of the vehicle, and sets, according to the vehicle information, at least one of the notification-sound sound source to be used in generation of the notification sound, a filter property to be applied to the filter, or a control parameter to be applied to the notification sound controller in generation of the notification sound. The notification sound controller outputs the signal generated, through the filter to an exterior loudspeaker provided to the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicle approach notifying device for notifying the approach of a vehicle by causing a loudspeaker to output a warning sound includes: a storage that stores a predetermined threshold of sound pressure; and a controller that: (i) causes a loudspeaker disposed outside a cabin of the vehicle to output the warning sound at a first sound pressure determined in accordance with a speed of the vehicle when a sound pressure of the warning sound acquired by a microphone disposed outside the vehicle is less than or equal to the predetermined threshold; and (ii) causes the loudspeaker to output the warning sound at a sound pressure lower than the first sound pressure when the sound pressure of the warning sound acquired by the microphone exceeds the predetermined threshold.

    Abstract: A speaker system includes a cushion body with which a person comes into contact when sitting therein, and a speaker, a front of which is covered by the cushion body. The cushion body includes: a three-dimensional mesh-like elastic part that is formed by a three-dimensionally entangled fiber and bears a load of the person; and a cover member that covers surroundings of the three-dimensional mesh-like elastic part. The cover member includes a first cover member that covers the part of the surroundings of the three-dimensional mesh-like elastic part located at the front of the speaker, and a second cover member that is a remainder of the cover member excluding the first cover member. The first cover member has a higher acoustic transmissivity than the second cover member.

    Abstract: A vehicle proximity notification apparatus has first and second loudspeakers which output warning sound notifying proximity of a vehicle to an outside, and an adjusting unit. The adjusting unit adjusts the sound output from the first loudspeaker so that a sound collecting signal, which is obtained when the second loudspeaker collects the sound output from the first loudspeaker, coincides with a reference signal, in a state in which the first loudspeaker functions as a sound outputting element and the second loudspeaker functions as a sound collecting element. In addition, the adjusting unit adjusts the sound output from the second loudspeaker so that a sound collecting signal, which is obtained when the first loudspeaker collects the sound output from the second loudspeaker, coincides with a reference signal, in a state in which the second loudspeaker functions as a sound outputting element and the first loudspeaker functions as the sound collecting element.
