Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods are disclosed for importing data from electronic data files. In accordance with some embodiments, a file format is assigned to a source electronic data files by a data importation system. The data importation system may further identify a file type identifier associated with the source electronic data file and map the source electronic data file to a transformation template. The data importation system may further store the file format, file type identifier, and an indication of the transformation template as a file type profile associated with the source electronic data file in a database.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a data processing method comprises generating impression estimate data that specifies an estimated total number of impressions of a plurality of non-program media items that are possible during future transmission of a plurality of media programs via a plurality of media channels; based on the impression estimate data, generating campaign data specifying a target number of impressions of a particular non-program media item and specifying one or more particular media channels to receive the particular non-program media item; based on the campaign data, and based upon transmission schedule data that specifies future times of transmission of the plurality of media programs via the plurality of media channels, automatically determining digitally stored promotional schedule data that specifies a plurality of times to transmit the particular non-program media item to achieve the target number of impressions; wherein the method is performed by one or more computing devices.

The data importation system may load detector/transformer plugins and determined whether any of the load detector/transformer plugins apply to the received source electronic data files. The data importation system may also generate transformed data using a transformer corresponding to a detector that applies to the source electronic data files. The data importation system may import the transformed data into at least one of a data analysis system and a database.

Abstract: Techniques in this disclosure may provide a user interface that concurrently displays multiple panels which provide visualization of emergency call data of a law enforcement agency. The user interface can provide a high-level overview of emergency calls in a geographical area. Each panel in the user interface can provide visualization of the emergency calls and/or statistics relating to the calls. A user can customize which panels to include in the user interface and/or customize setting for each panel. The user may apply various types of filters to the data displayed in the user interface, and the panels can update the visualizations according to the filters. The user interface can also provide the ability to show data at various levels of detail within the same user interface or panel. The techniques in the disclosure can provide a convenient, digestible overview of tactical and/or strategic data in a single user interface.
