Abstract: A wakefulness inducing device includes: a heat dissipation intensity obtainer obtaining a user's heat dissipation intensity from a heat dissipation intensity sensor; and a controller controlling an air conditioner to alternate the user's heat dissipation intensity between a first heat dissipation intensity and a second heat dissipation intensity lower than the first heat dissipation intensity. The controller alternates the user's heat dissipation intensity by controlling the air conditioner based on the user's heat dissipation intensity to set a first time period longer than a second time period. In the first time period, the user's heat dissipation intensity increases from the second heat dissipation intensity to the first heat dissipation intensity, or remains at the first heat dissipation intensity. In the second time period, the user's heat dissipation intensity decreases from the first heat dissipation intensity to the second heat dissipation intensity, or remains at the second heat dissipation intensity.

Abstract: A management method manages devices in a home includes, receiving operation information on one of the devices when an operation is performed for the one of the devices, specifying times at which the operation was performed, in accordance with the information, and receiving, whenever a state is entered when no one is expected to be home, time information when the state has been entered. Specifying in-home-absence times at which a state has been entered when no one is expected to be home, according to the time information, for each of the devices, calculating time differences for the specified operation times, and for each of the devices, specifying the performed operation as a first behavior of the person correlated to a behavior before the person leaves home, when variation of the calculated time differences of the corresponding one of the devices is equal to or lower than a threshold.

Abstract: A drowsiness prevention device includes a psychological state estimator and a controller. The psychological state estimator estimates a psychological state of an occupant, based on a state of the occupant detected by a detection device. The controller causes an output device to output a first warning and a second warning which are for alerting the occupant. The psychological state estimator estimates a first psychological state of the occupant which is before the first warning is output and a second psychological state of the occupant which is after the first warning is output. The controller determines details of a second warning, based on only the second psychological state or based on both the first psychological state and the second psychological state.
