Abstract: There are provided a comparison device and a comparison method including determining whether or not a comparison target person is a subject of a registered face image by comparing an imaged face image to the registered face image, determining whether or not a blocking object is provided in the imaged face image, determining whether or not removing the blocking object is required, by calculating a partial similarity score between the imaged face image and the registered face image in a partial area corresponding to the blocking object, and urging the blocking object to be detached based on the partial similarity score.

Abstract: An authentication device includes an acquisition unit that acquires first image data generated at a first timing and indicating a first face of a living creature to be authenticated, age information indicating an age of the living creature at the first timing, second image data generated at a second timing later than the first timing and indicating a second face of the living creature, and aging information indicating a time period from the first timing to the second timing, and a controller that compares the first image data with the second image data. The controller calculates a similarity between the first face and the second face based on the first image data and the second image data, corrects the similarity based on the age information and the aging information, and determines, based on the corrected similarity, whether the living creature in the first image data is identical to the living creature in the second image data.

Abstract: A server device that is a face image processing device includes a controller, a storage unit, an input unit, an output unit, and a registration database. The identification information of an entering person acquired at an entrance gate is transmitted to the server device and collated with the registration database by the controller, and persons related to the entering person and persons matching the entering person are included in a search range. Search load is reduced, errors are suppressed, and high speed is achieved by narrowing down the search range.

Abstract: There is provided a collation device capable of capturing a face image suitable for collation by an imaging device while making a display suitable for collation by a display to a person in the front side of a half mirror. By disposing a plurality of displays with predetermined gap in the back side of the half mirror and disposing camera lenses and in this gap, it is possible to make the line of sight for viewing the display and the line of sight for imaging by the cameras be almost the same. As a result, it is possible to capture a face image suitable for collation by an imaging device while making a display suitable for collation by a display to a person in the front side of the half mirror.
