Abstract:
A sheet paper conveyor includes pairs of conveyor guides that form a sheet paper conveyance path between guide surfaces which face each other with a predetermined conveyance path width between them and which are parallel to each other, and that are engaged with end portions of pairs of connection-side conveyor guides that form a conveyance path for the sheet paper using connection subject conveyance path guide surfaces that face each other with the conveyance path width between them and are parallel to each other, and with one end portions in a conveyance direction of the sheet paper. Supporting portions rotatably support the pairs of conveyor guides in accordance with positions of the pairs of connection-side conveyor guides such that the conveyance path width is maintained and such that the parallel state between the guide surfaces is maintained.
Abstract:
A medium processing device is provided including: a conveyance section that conveys a sheet-shaped medium along a conveyance path; a drive transmission section that transmits drive force to the medium so as to cause the medium to travel along the conveyance path; an operation knob that is provided on an operation side face of the conveyance section, and that is used for operating the drive transmission section; and a storage box that stores the medium therein, and that is capable of transitioning between an opposing state in which the storage box opposes the operation side face of the conveyance section over a range including at least the operation knob, and a non-opposing state in which the storage box does not oppose the operation side face.
Abstract:
A temporary holding section winds banknotes onto an outer peripheral face of a circular, cylinder-shaped and rotatably supported drum to retain the banknotes between a facing portion and the outer peripheral face. More specifically, the temporary holding section uses an upper side tape and a lower side tape, that respectively have one end wound onto the drum, such that accompanying rotation of the drum, the supplied banknotes are sandwiched between the tapes and the outer peripheral face. Moreover, in the temporary holding section, a movable section that presses the banknote against the drum outer peripheral face while being movable with respect to the drum is positioned with the other end further away from the drum than the facing portion.
Abstract:
In a storage box guidance section provided to an upper portion of a banknote storage box in a banknote pay-in/pay-out device of an ATM, a groove is provided running along a front-rear direction at the right side of a storage box conveyance guide group. Further, in a handover section provided to a casing in the banknote pay-in/pay-out device, a position establishing section is provided to the right side of a handover section conveyance guide group. The left-right direction position of the storage box guidance section may accordingly be established with respect to the handover section by positioning the position establishing section inside the groove when storing a lower frame loaded with the banknote storage box and the like in the casing of the banknote pay-in/pay-out device. This enables finger sections of the storage box conveyance guide group and finger sections of the handover section conveyance guide group to be interlocked with each other without abutting.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a medium processing device and medium transaction device that may increase stability by shortening a conveyance path. Namely, a banknote deposit/withdrawal device includes a conveyance section that forms a linear conveyance path along a front-rear direction inside an upper section block, in the vicinity of a boundary with a lower section block. An upper section storage box is disposed in the vicinity of a rear side terminal end of a rear conveyance section. Counterfeit notes are conveyed to the upper section storage box using a switching section. Accordingly, due to keeping the conveyance path length short, the banknote deposit/withdrawal device may reduce the frequency of occurrence of faults, such as banknote jams, and may prevent the circulation of counterfeit notes by storing counterfeit notes segregated from genuine banknotes, reject banknotes, and the like.
Abstract:
A medium processing device including: a main tape having one end fixed to a drum, and being wound onto the drum while sandwiching a medium with the drum; a first roller at which the main tape unwound from a main reel is turned back at a distant location from the drum; a second roller at which the main tape, turned back by the first roller and travelled along the drum, is separated from the drum and turned back toward the drum, the medium being sandwiched between portions of the main tape turned back by the first and second rollers and being conveyed between the second roller and the drum; an auxiliary tape having one end fixed to a location of the drum that does not overlap with the main tape, and winding the medium onto the drum at least within a separation range of the main tape from the drum.
Abstract:
A banknote deposit and withdrawal apparatus causes a control section to function as an inserted medium counting unit, a normal medium counting unit and an abnormal mediums number calculation unit. The normal medium counting unit again feeds out and conveys banknotes from the banknote deposit and withdrawal section to the verification section in a quantity corresponding to the number of inserted banknotes, conveys abnormal banknotes that are verified as abnormal by the verification section to the banknote deposit and withdrawal section together with following banknotes but conveys normal banknotes that are verified as normal by the verification section to the temporary holding section and retains the normal banknotes therein, and counts a number of normal banknotes. The abnormal mediums number calculation unit subtracts the number of normal banknotes from the number of inserted banknotes to calculate an abnormal banknotes number.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a medium protection device and a medium separating and stacking device capable of avoiding damage to a medium when moving the medium along a guide. In a banknote cassette, a guide body is attached to a circumferential side face of a central body of a tongue piece roller in a range not provided with tongue pieces. When feeding out banknotes, the banknote cassette stops the tongue piece roller in a retracted state, thereby positioning an outer circumferential face of the guide body in the vicinity of the surface of a front upper curved portion of a hole in the conveyance guide, such that the hole can be placed in an almost completely blocked state. The present invention can accordingly prevent the vicinity of a corner of a banknote from entering the hole, enabling creasing during conveyance to be forestalled.
Abstract:
A bill deposit/dispensing section has: an opening/closing section that moves a shutter in an opening direction and a closing direction; a driving section having driving force; a lock gear that serves as a gear section that drives the opening/closing section by transmitting driving force of the driving section to the opening/closing section by contacting the driving section and the opening/closing section and rotating; and a shutter locking/unlocking section that, by contacting the gear section and restricting rotation of the gear section, restricts operation of the opening/closing section and locks the shutter such that the shutter does not move, and, on the other hand, by coming apart from the gear section and freeing rotation of the gear section, releases locking so as to move the opening/closing section and move the shutter. Due thereto, a shutter device and media transaction device having improved security are provided.
