    摘要: A system electronically tracks each or multiple shipment-related entities as a group of co-located dots that are monitored to provide enhanced security of the shipment from attacks or unauthorized or illicit actions that can compromise the shipment's safety. A data processing system (DPS) receives a plurality of location tracking signals of multiple shipment-related entities, associates the location tracking signals as a shipment group that is assigned a unique shipment tracking identifier (STID), and presents the shipment group as a plurality of co-located dots on a shipment tracking user interface (STUI). The DPS monitors for any unscheduled deviations in at least one of an expected co-location/geo-location of the location tracking signals, identifies specific types of unscheduled deviations, and triggers a series of responsive actions to protect the shipment. The unscheduled deviations can include signal jamming attacks, incorrect pickup (or theft) of an operator-assigned shipment, and unexpected separation of the tracked entities.

    摘要: A method, computer program product, mobile communication device, and a shipment tracking system provide automated incident recording, reporting, and response protocols, including operator directives. The method includes receiving an input identifying an occurrence of an incident associated with a shipment entity, the shipment entity being one or more of a vessel, an operator, and a cargo being transported via the vessel. The method includes, in response to the input, presenting on a user interface (UI) of an operator mobile communication device (MCD) one or more selectable incident reporting options to activate incident response, data recording, and reporting (IRDRR) protocols. The method further includes generating and presenting an incident response UI that instructs the operator of specific sequence of steps to take in response to the incident and to complete an incident information gathering process. The method further includes automatically transmitting/uploading a notification of the incident to an incident management server.

    摘要: A method, computer device, and security detail (SD) communication device enables real-time tracking and security of shipments. The method includes receiving a plurality of location signals indicating a location of multiple geographically co-located shipment-related entities that are being tracked as a shipment group. The shipment group includes an assigned security detail that has a corresponding location signal. The method includes presenting the shipment group as a plurality of co-located visual representations on a shipment tracking user interface (STUI) of the computing device, where each location signal is represented among the co-located visual representations. The method includes monitoring for any unscheduled deviations in at least one of an expected co-location and an expected geo-location of received updates to the location signals within the shipment group. The method further includes, in response to detecting an unscheduled deviation, triggering responsive actions, including notifying SD personnel, based on the type of deviation.

    摘要: A law enforcement (LE) data processing system (DPS) includes a processor that executes a LE security event notification and dispatch (SEND) utility. The LE DPS receives, from a tracking system communicatively coupled to the LE DPS, an enhanced security event notification (ESEN) that includes information identifying a security event, a location at which the security event occurred, and additional distinguishing details corresponding to entities involved in and affected by the security event. The LE DPS selectively transmits information from the updated ESEN to at least one LE dispatch server supporting LE personnel within one of (i) a geographic vicinity of the location of the security event and (ii) a calculated zone of recapture, the additional distinguishing details enabling the LE personnel to receive a more complete set of relevant details at a LE field device that enables more accurate identification, tracking, and resolution by LE personnel of the security event.

    摘要: A method, system, and computer program product provides efficient matching of shipments with carriers and real time online tracking of shipments. The method includes receiving a carrier input that includes a desired end destination of an equipment of the carrier, and a processor locating at least one available shipment having one of (i) a shipment pick-up point within a pre-established, shipment pick-up zone and (ii) a shipment delivery point within an acceptable shipment drop-off zone of the desired end destination. The processor dynamically determines and maps an optimal route and generates and displays an available shipment (AV) user interface (UI), with a complete route for the equipment from a desired starting point to the desired end destination. The processor then calculates and provides, via the AV UI, an opportunity cost of the shipment, based in part on a total number of empty miles associated with the route.
