    Abstract: A hood for endoscope is attached to an endoscope including an insertion portion, a distal end portion and an air-feeding conduit, and the hood for endoscope includes a frame configured to be fitted to an outer circumference of the distal end portion, and a rectification plate configured to, so that gas spurted out forward in a longitudinal axis direction from an air-feeding port flows, changing an orientation in which the gas flows, from the longitudinal axis direction to a circumferential direction of the frame intersecting the longitudinal axis direction by the gas hitting the rectification member, guide the gas in a direction not toward a position of the distal end portion provided with an observation member.

    Abstract: An insertion apparatus includes an endoscope, a first air feeding apparatus, a first air suction apparatus, a second air feeding apparatus, a second air suction apparatus, a pressure detector, an operation detector and a controller, and the controller performs first control on the second air feeding apparatus and the second air suction apparatus so that the amount of gas per predetermined time period fed from the second air feeding apparatus becomes equal to the amount of gas suctioned by the second air suction apparatus, and when the operation detector detects the operation and the pressure detector detects that the pressure in a subject changes from a first pressure to a second pressure, the controller maintains the first control to perform air feeding/air suction into/from the subject at the second pressure.

    Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed to an endoscope comprises an operation portion. An insertion portion having respective proximal and distal ends. The proximal end is configured to be attached to the operation portion and the distal end is used to be inserted into a subject. The distal end of the insertion portion includes a distal surface having at least an observation window, a channel opening, and an elongated feed conduit having a slanted feed passage all which formed therein to communicate simultaneously with the operation portion and a procedure instrument during an operation on the subject. The elongated feed conduit having the slanted feed passage used to direct fluid into the subject. The slanted passage feed includes an ejection port that ejects the fluid from the slanted feed passage at an angle to generate a vortex flow so that mucus or mist-form particles are diffused away from the observation window.
