Abstract: A method is described for communicating in a network. The method includes setting a type bit in a frame to indicate whether the frame is scheduling an uplink transmission for a first set of stations or a first and second set of stations; configuring a common information field of the frame for (1) the first set of stations for the transmission and (2) when the type bit indicates, the second set of stations for the transmission; configuring a set of user information fields of the frame for (1) the first set of stations for the transmission and (2) when the type bit indicates, the second set of stations for the transmission; and transmitting the frame to (1) the first set of stations and (2) the second set of stations when the type bit indicates that the frame is scheduling for the first and second set of stations.

Abstract: A method is described for aligning high efficiency (HE), extremely high throughput (EHT), and EHT+sub-physical layer protocol data units (sub-PPDUs) included in an aggregated PPDU (APPDU) trigger frame. The method includes aligning a preamble portion of the sub-PPDUs by applying a multi-user PPDU (MU-PPDU) format to each of the sub-PPDUs and aligning a data portion of the sub-PPDUs by including a padding subfield in each of the sub-PPDUs to produce a common length.

Abstract: A method for channel sounding for high efficiency (HE) and extreme high throughput (EHT) stations (STAs) includes receiving, by a station (STA), an aggregate physical layer protocol data unit (A-PPDU) from an access point (AP), the A-PPDU including an HE sounding null data packet (NDP) and an EHT sounding NDP, receiving, by the STA, a beamforming report poll frame (BFRP) from the AP, and receiving, by the STA, one or more compressed beamforming (BF)/channel quality indicator (CQI) frames. The HE sounding NDP or the EHT sounding NDP overlaps 242-tone resource units (RUs) corresponding to bits with a value of 1 in the bitmap of the TXVECTOR parameter INACTIVE_SUBCHANNELS or overlaps a punctured center 26-tone RU of an HE sounding NDP, the HE sounding NDP or the EHT sounding NDP being punctured.

Abstract: A method provides for reducing interlink interference between an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) having a simultaneous transmit and receive (STR) link set and a non-AP MLD with a non-STR link set. The method includes transmitting data, by the AP MLD, to the non-AP MLD on a first link, simultaneously receiving data, by the AP MLD from the non-AP MLD, on a second link, and aligning, by the AP MLD, an end time of transmitted physical layer protocol data units (PPDUs) using padding in response to concurrently transmitting another PPDU, by the non-AP MLD, on a link that is part of the non-STR link set.

Abstract: A method is described for a wireless device, which includes determining padding for a sub-physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (sub-PPDU) in an aggregated PPDU (APPDU).
