摘要: In a communication system (1), when there is no access destination corresponding to a service type to be used by a piece of UE (50) in one of cellular communication and non-cellular communication, a retrieval unit (13) of a DB server (10) selects an access destination by referring to correspondence information in the other of the cellular communication and the non-cellular communication. Thus, when there is no access destination corresponding to the service type to be used by the UE (50) in one of the cellular communication and the non-cellular communication, the access destination corresponding to the service type is selected in the other of the cellular communication and the non-cellular communication. Therefore, it is possible to select an access destination suitable for the service type from both the cellular communication and the non-cellular communication.

摘要: A slice management system (1) is a slice management system managing slices that are virtual networks generated on a network infrastructure, comprises a memory storing a priority list in which slices of connection destination candidates of a UE (2) are aligned in order of priority levels and, in a case in which a connection request for a slice from the UE (2) is acquired, determines a slice to which UE (2) is to be connected on the basis of the priority list stored in the memory.

摘要: A mobile communication system 8 is a mobile communication system comprising a core network comprising a RAN 3 (a radio access network), an SM 2 (a session management function) that manages a session between a UE 4 (a mobile communication terminal) and an MM 1 (a mobility management function) that manages mobility of the UE 4, and the SM 2 comprises a communication path establishment unit 22 that establishes a communication path enabling communication between the SM 2 and a node of the RAN 3 without passing through the MM 1. The communication path establishment unit 22 may establish a communication path when the communication path establishment unit 22 receives the session construction request at the time of attachment of the UE 4 from the MM 1.

摘要: A common C-Plane control node includes a change request acquiring unit that acquires a change request relating to changing of a communication path relating to a UE, a determination unit that determines whether or not the UE has set up the communication path in each of control nodes of a plurality of slices using information included in the change request acquired by the change request acquiring unit, and a communication processing unit that performs a process relating to changing of a communication path while forming a state in which the communication path before change and the communication path after change coexist for each of a plurality of communication paths in a case in which the determination unit determines that the UE has set up the communication path in each of the plurality of slices.

摘要: In a communication system (1), a communication service to be used by a piece of UE (30) that has requested access is identified, and an ePDG (40) or a PGW (60) is dynamically selected on the basis of the identified communication service. Thus, it is possible to appropriately provide a communication service requested by a user. Therefore, it is possible to dynamically select the ePDG (40) or the PGW (60) according to requirements of the service requested by the UE (30) (for example, requirements of a network for executing a service). Accordingly, it is possible to provide a suitable communication service to a user of the UE (30) who uses a plurality of services.

摘要: In a communication system in which a plurality of bearers are set up between UE and one or more PGWs, a PGW measures an idle time for each bearer and determines whether or not the measured idle time has reached an idle timer threshold value which is determined in advance for each of the plurality of bearers (Step 1). Then, when it is determined that the idle time for one bearer, for example, bearer 2, has reached the idle timer threshold value (Step 2), a PGW2 requests an MME to release bearer 2 via an SGW2 (Steps 3 and 4), and the MME performs a process of releasing bearer 2 in response to the request (Step 5 and the like).

摘要: An object is to provide a slice management system capable of assigning slices to a plurality of business operators. In a parent SMF 100, a slice management table 103 can manage resources of a slice managed by a child SMF 100a or the like, and a communication unit 101 can notify the child SMF 100a or the like of the resources. The child SMF 100a or the like receives the resources and stores the resources in the slice management table 106. Therefore, the child SMF 100a or the like can manage the resources of the slice managed by the child SMF 100a or the like, and the child SMF 100a can independently enable the management of the resources.

摘要: In a slice management device 10, a storage request accepting unit 11 acquires correspondence information in which a service, a slice, and tracking areas are associated with each other. A presence-in-area identifying unit 13 identifies a presence-in-area status of a UE 130. An assignment unit 14 assigns a slice corresponding to a service used by the UE 130 and tracking areas represented by the correspondence information. In this case, the slice management device 10 assigns a slice to a service in accordance with the presence-in-area status of the UE 130, and accordingly, a slice assigned to the service can be dynamically changed.
