The method comprises: receiving, at a first network device and from a first central device for controlling the first network device, a first message comprising configuration information about at least one of duplication and de-duplication for a packet at backhaul adaptation protocol, BAP, layer; and communicating, based on the configuration information, the packet with a group of second network devices and the first central device in an integrated access and backhaul, IAB, network. By duplicating uplink and downlink data associated with terminal devices in the IAB network at BAP level, the reliability and resiliency of backhaul links can be improved.

The UE receives the information and the indication and performs, without performing a random-access procedure, the security update to the new security configuration to use for communication with the second serving cell.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of resource pool configuration and usage for V2X. The method comprises receiving, at a first device, information of a set of resource pools allocated for a predetermined area from a second device and a usage pattern for the set of resource pools from a third device, the usage pattern at least indicating an association between the set of resource pools and at least one property of the predetermined area. The method further comprises determining at least one attribute of the first device related to the at least one property and determining a target resource pool for communication from the set of resource pools based on the at least one attribute, the information and the usage pattern. In the solution, the V2X control device may coordinate the resource pool configuration with the network device and determine polices for the usage of the resource pool. In this way, the resource pool can be configured more efficient for V2X packet distribution and reception.
