    Abstract: Various techniques are provided for receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from an access node (AN), a first random access channel (RACH) configuration available for random access transmission, receiving, by the UE from the AN, a second RACH configuration including at least one reserved extended spectral resource and an indication configured to cause the UE to enable a spectrally extended RACH transmission, and communicating, by the UE to the AN, using at least a portion of a reserved extended spectral resources.

    Abstract: According to an example embodiment, a method may include determining, by a user equipment in a wireless network, a starting physical resource block (PoinA) of a common physical resource block grid that is associated with a wideband channel, wherein a plurality of bandwidth parts are provided within the common physical resource block grid, each bandwidth part having a bandwidth that is less than the bandwidth of the wideband channel; determining, by the user equipment, a wideband channel guard band for the wideband channel, the wideband channel guard band provided between a lowest frequency of the wideband channel and a first usable physical resource block of the common physical resource block grid; and, determining, by the user equipment for at least one bandwidth part (BWPI) of the plurality of bandwidth parts, a bandwidth part-specific physical resource block grid that is a subset of the common physical resource block grid.

    Abstract: In a system, apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for implementing time domain resource allocation (TDRA) enhancements for use in a 60 GHz frequency range scenario, a user equipment (UE) device may be caused to, receive a time domain resource allocation (TDRA) table from a radio access network (RAN) node, the TDRA table including TDRA configuration information for at least one multi-slot TDRA, receive an indication regarding at least one multi-slot TDRA from the RAN node, receive at least one masking signal indication from the RAN node, the at least one masking signal indication including information corresponding to at least one scheduled transmission slot for at least one masking signal, determine whether to modify the multi-slot TDRA based on the received at least one masking signal indication, and perform multi-slot communication with the RAN node based on results of the determining whether to modify the multi-slot TDRA.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided a terminal device configured to perform the following. Initially, the terminal device monitors physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, transmissions according to a first set of rules. The first set of rules comprises rules for performing monitoring over at least two beam pair links, each beam pair link corresponding to a control resource set, CORESET, with a different active transmission configuration indication, TCI, state. The terminal device receives, using a first CORESET with a first active TCI state from an access node, an indication for limiting monitoring and consequently limits monitoring of PDCCH transmissions associated with CORESETs having a TCI state other than the first active TCI state for a period of time.

    Abstract: A technique includes receiving, by a user device from a base station, a first message indicating a plurality of sets of uplink control channel resources for the uplink transmission of a type of uplink control information, each set of uplink control channel resources having a resource configuration; receiving, by the user device from the base station, a second message that is different from the first message, the second message indicating a selected uplink control channel resources, of the plurality of sets of uplink control channel resources, for the uplink transmission of a type of uplink control information; and sending, by the user device to the base station, uplink control information via the selected set of uplink control channel resources.
