摘要: An active passive antenna arrangement as made up of an array of 5G antennas interleaved with multiband antenna structures that may be low band (LB) passive antennas. The 5G antenna array may be a mMIMO active array. The LB antennas are formed using conductive elements on thin supporting sheets that fit within the space between the 5G antennas. The substrates, and hence the radiating elements of the LB antennas, may be arranged so as to generally appear to form four sides of a rectangular box with the top and bottom surfaces removed. Thus, the LB antennas may be thought of as having been “slipped in” amongst a preexisting array of 5G antennas. Each LB antenna may surround one or more of the 5G antennas and 5G antennas of the array may also be external to an LB antenna.

The moving dielectric part surrounds the strip line and is adapted to move only along a longitudinal axis of the strip line. Within this apparatus the size of the area of the strip line surrounded by the moving dielectric part is modified when the moving dielectric part moves along the longitudinal axis.

摘要: A multiband antenna structure having an open rectangular box shape is arranged to provide identical electrical lengths for all of its radiating elements notwithstanding that the physical dimensions of portions of the multiband antenna may not be identical. Advantageously, such a multiband antenna may be interleaved with a 5G antenna array having unequal spacing between the 5G antennas or having an offset between at least one of the rows and the columns. This may be achieved by incorporating a dielectric material in at least one radiating element, by forming a radiating element with a serpentine shape, by having a radiating element follow a chicane, by incorporating a reflector of a 5G array, or by employing capacitive coupling.

摘要: A method for determining a distance to a passive intermodulation source in a device under test, the method comprising transmitting at least two signals with respective different frequencies to the device under test, receiving a complex response signal from the device under test, the complex response signal comprising a passive intermodulation of the at least two signals, generating an autocorrelation matrix using the complex response signal, the autocorrelation matrix representing power information of the complex response signal, decomposing the complex response signal, using the autocorrelation matrix, into a signal component part and a noise component part and determining a distance to the passive intermodulation source in the device under test using the noise and/or signal component part.

摘要: An antenna comprising: a longitudinal support member for supporting components of the antenna and a method of assembling such an antenna is disclosed. The components supported by the longitudinal member comprise: at least one signal feed probe configured to capacitively supply a signal to a corresponding at least one radiating patch; the at least one radiating patch mounted to at least partially wraparound the longitudinal support member; and signal supply circuitry for supplying a signal to the at least one signal feed. The signal supply circuitry is mounted on an outer surface of the inner longitudinal support member; and the longitudinal support member is formed of a conductive material and forms a ground plane for the antenna.

摘要: In a first aspect of the present disclosure, an antenna includes: a ground plane; a central support extending from the ground plane, the central support having two feeding probes, each of the feeding probes having a first part and a second part, each of the first part and the second part being separated from one another and from the first and second parts of the other feeding probe; and four radiating arms, one radiating arm extending from each of the first and second parts of each feeding probe, wherein at least a portion of at least two of the radiating arms extends in directions different from orientations of their respective parts of the feeding probes. In a second aspect, an antenna array includes: a plurality of antennas disposed in an array on a common ground plane, wherein each of the antennas comprises: a central support extending from the common ground plane, the central support having two feeding probes, each of the feeding probes having a first part and a second part, each of the first part and the second part being separated from one another and from the first and second parts of the other feeding probe; and four radiating arms, one radiating arm extending from each of the first and second parts of each feeding probe, wherein at least a portion of at least two of the radiating arms extends in directions different from orientations of their respective parts of the feeding probes.
