摘要: A heat storage reactor, comprising: a plurality of heat storage layers including first flow paths through which a first fluid can flow, each of the first flow paths being filled with heat storage materials; and a plurality of heat exchange layers including second flow paths through which a second fluid can flow. In the heat storage reactor, the plurality of heat storage layers and the plurality of heat exchange layers are alternately stacked. Further, open ends for the second flow paths are formed on a surface different from a surface on which open ends of the first flow paths are formed. Furthermore, at least a part of the second flow paths is formed in parallel to the first flow paths.

摘要: The method includes: a formed body forming step of forming each of a plurality of honeycomb-segment formed bodies by extrusion; an aggregate formation step of forming a honeycomb-segment aggregate by applying a fluid bonding material to side faces of the honeycomb-segment formed bodies, and arranging the honeycomb-segment formed bodies so that the side faces are brought into contact with each other; an aggregate shaping step of shaping the honeycomb-segment aggregate by performing a press treatment to the side faces of the honeycomb-segment aggregate; and a drying/firing step of drying and firing the honeycomb-segment aggregate, wherein the aggregate shaping step are performed while keeping the water amount of each of the honeycomb-segment formed bodies to be 30 mass % or more, each of the honeycomb segments has cell density that is 620 cells/cm2 or more, and the press treatment is performed with a contact pressure of 0.005 kg/cm2 or more.

摘要: Provided is a honeycomb filter, including: a pillar-shaped honeycomb substrate having an inflow end face and an outflow end face and including a porous partition wall surrounding a plurality of cells; and a plugging portion disposed at any one of ends of the cells at the inflow end face and at the outflow end face. In a cross section orthogonal to an extending direction of the cells, inflow cells have a pentagonal or a hexagonal shape, and outflow cells have a square shape. The cells are configured that the inflow cells surround one outflow cell and one side of an inflow cell and one side of an adjacent outflow cell are parallel to each other. The partition wall is configured that thickness of a first partition wall disposed between the inflow cells and the outflow cells is smaller than thickness of a second partition wall disposed between the inflow cells.

摘要: A honeycomb filter includes a honeycomb structure and plugged portions. Partition walls of the honeycomb structure are made of a partition wall material including a plurality of aggregates containing silicon carbide or silicon nitride as a main component, and a binding material at a content of 15 to 35 mass %. The binding material is made of a material in which mullite particles as reinforcing particles may be dispersed in cordierite. A thermal expansion coefficient of the partition walls at 40 to 800° C. is 4.2×10−6 1/K or less. When a value of a stress applied to the partition wall material at 900° C. is normalized by the maximum value of the stress applied to the partition wall material, a percentage of a plastic deformation displacement in a total displacement at a normalized stress value of 0.9 is in a range of 0.3 to 10%.

In the partition walls, SiC which is an aggregate is bound by Si which is a binding agent, at least one of an average open diameter of the pores of an inlet side of the exhaust gas passing the partition wall and an average open diameter of the pores of an outlet side is from 0.1 to 5 μm, an average pore diameter of the whole partition wall is from 10 to 30 μm, and a thermal conductivity of the partition walls at room temperature is from 50 to 80 W/mK.

Linear portions are radially arranged in the ceramic cylinder tube, each linear portion linearly extending in the radial direction of the ceramic cylinder tube so as to include a plurality of first cell-walls that are arranged on the same axial line that in the radial direction and current flows radially at least via the linear portions between the inner and outer electrodes.
