摘要: A phased array antenna includes a signal source, a distribution circuit, phase shifters, amplifiers, antenna elements, and a control device. The signal source generates a signal. The distribution circuit divides the signal generated by the signal source. The phase shifters shift phases of signals divided by the distribution circuit to change an orientation direction in which electromagnetic wave is emitted. The amplifiers amplify signals output by the phase shifters. The antenna elements emit, as the electromagnetic wave, signals output by the amplifiers. The control device controls the amplifiers such that, in a plane that is parallel to an orbital plane of a satellite with which communication of the electromagnetic wave is established, amplitudes of amplifiers, among the amplifiers, which are arranged in the center of the plane are greater than amplitudes of amplifiers, among the amplifiers, arranged at the periphery.

摘要: The waveguide device, in which first/second openings are formed at end parts of a waveguide path, comprises a waveguide path obtained by uniting first/second waveguides. The first waveguide is provided with a first recessed part which has an opening with a same shape as the first opening and has a bottom part formed in a first direction as seen from the opening. The second waveguide is provided with a second recessed part which has an opening with a same shape as the second opening and has a bottom part formed in a second direction as seen from the opening. The first/second waveguides are united in a manner such that, positions of the bottom parts of the first/second recessed parts are different from each other in a direction differing from the first/second directions, and the first/second recessed parts connect with each other at the respective bottom parts.

摘要: In a conventional antenna device, transmission radio waves transmitted from a transmitting antenna traveling directly to a receiving antenna are blocked by a shield wall disposed between the receiving antenna and the transmitting antenna. However, some of the transmission radio waves are diffracted at the edge of the shield wall and enter the receiving antenna as diffracted waves, affecting the reception of the reception radio waves. In view of this, the shield wall and a polarized wave converter unit are disposed between the transmitting antenna unit and the receiving antenna unit. As a result, vertically polarized wave components of the diffracted waves are converted by the polarized wave converter unit to circularly polarized wave components that are less affecting the reception of the reception radio waves in the receiving antenna, and the diffracted waves are prevented from affecting the receiving operation of the receiving antenna.

摘要: A phased array antenna device for receiving a signal from a satellite includes subarrays including antenna elements and phase shifters that shift phases of signals received by the antenna elements with set phase shift values, a demodulator that demodulates the signals from the satellite with the phases shifted by the phase shifters and outputs the demodulated signals, and a controller that sets the phase shift values of the phase shifters and controls a beam direction. The controller calculates, for each of the subarrays, a direction-correction phase shift value that maximizes a power value of the signal from the satellite by being added to the phase shift values of the phase shifters included in the subarray and adds the direction-correction phase shift value to the phase shift values of the phase shifters included in the subarray.

摘要: A rectenna device includes an antenna (210), a first rectifier (31) to rectify a radio frequency wave input in the antenna (210), an antenna (220), a second rectifier (32) to rectify a radio frequency wave input in the antenna (220), and a capacitive coupler (5) to form an open circuit in response to direct current and to form a short circuit in response to a fundamental wave. The first rectifier (31) includes a ground (GND) conductor (410) to be a reference potential, and the second rectifier (32) includes a GND conductor (420) to be a reference potential. The GND conductor (410) and the GND conductor (420) are connected with the capacitive coupler (5) in between. The first rectifier (31) and the second rectifier (32) are connected in series.

摘要: Lower-limit frequency reflection characteristics of a horn antenna are improved even though element spacing, of less than or equal to one wavelength, is a spacing at which grating lobes do not occur in an antenna radiation pattern. The horn antenna includes a horn antenna and a conductor grid that divides an aperture A of the horn antenna in a grid pattern and that electrically connects to an inner surface of the horn antenna at the aperture A of the horn antenna. Width of the conductor grid in a direction orthogonal to a horn antenna aperture plane differs from electrical length of the path of the horn antenna of the conductor grid portion at the frequency of power supplied to the horn antenna.
