The numerical control unit includes an arithmetic unit that performs processing of acquiring the indicator signal data as first indicator signal data and second indicator signal data, comparing the two indicator signal data, calculating a communication delay of the second indicator signal data with respect to the first indicator signal data, and determining input time of the measured signal.

When the drive shaft is a state of needing adjustment, the control unit informs a display unit that the drive shaft is in a state of needing adjustment, and adjusts the drive shaft for the processing head by comparing data of a signal from the sensor with prestored data obtained during normal operation, in a different process than a laser processing process.

The insulation detector measures the insulation resistance by measuring a time constant of a change in the voltage of the intra-insulation detector capacitor. A capacitance value of the intra-insulation detector capacitor is a value negligible in the measurement of the insulation resistance compared with a capacitance value of the intra-apparatus capacitor.
