    摘要： An edge protection process for semiconductor device fabrication includes forming a protective layer on the circumferential edge region of a semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor substrate is placed in a plasma atmosphere and trench structures, such as deep trenches and shallow trench isolation structures are etched in the substrate. The protective layer substantially prevents the etching of the circumferential edge region, such that the formation of black silicon is substantially minimized during the etching process.

    摘要： A kit for a one-handed support for a plate and a beverage comprises a plurality of interfitting flat components each having an equal thickness so that the aggregate of the components forming the kit is substantially flat and stackable. The kit includes a base which includes elongated upper and lower supports with aligned in a horizontally-oriented parallel arrangement with a hand-grippable connecting member perpendicularly oriented therebetween. A portion of the lower support forms a first component of a beverage support. A second beverage support component is insertable into the first component to form the beverage support. A plate support member having an platform portion is configured for placement on the upper support, and has an annular beverage grip extends therefrom. In use, a beverage can be inserted through the annular beverage grip and seated in the beverage support, and a user can hold the device by grasping the connecting member.

    摘要： A latex rubber cover molded to the base of the plugs on a construction type extension cord. When not in use, it is rolled back like rolling up the sleeve of a long sleeved shirt. When two cords with the latex cover are plugged into each other to make a longer cord, the latex cover on one plug is rolled onto itself and then onto the joined plug. When the cover is fully rolled out covering both plugs tightly, the latex cover on the joined plug is rolled out onto itself and the joined plug and on top of the first latex cover thus giving it a double seal on the joined plugs creating a waterproof joining of two extension cords. This also prevents the two plugs from pulling apart when being extended while being used.
