摘要: Systems and methods for managing power consumption of device subsystems include a device which maintains one or more constraint metric tables for applications executable on the device. Each of the one or more constraint metric tables may specify respective power levels for subsystems of the device according to a respective application or an application type of the respective application. The device may determine to operate the device at a reduced power level for a first application, based on a condition for the device satisfying at least one of a thermal threshold criteria or a power threshold criteria when the device operates at full power level. The device may apply a constraint metric responsive to determining to operate at the reduced power level, to cause a subset of the plurality of subsystems to adjust a power consumption level according to a first constraint metric table corresponding to the first application.

The wireless device may determine an operating mode for the wireless device's communications with the network, according to the communication profile and the type of motion. The wireless device may transmit a message to the network to cause the operating mode to be configured for the wireless device's communications with the network.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and method for user equipment (UE) based supplemental uplink configuration. A UE can identify, according to a characteristic of the UE for wireless communication, a frequency band for communicating via a supplemental uplink. The UE can transmit, via a transceiver to a base station, a first message comprising an identification of the frequency band and a request to access the frequency band for communicating via the supplemental uplink. The UE can receive, via the transceiver from the base station responsive to the first message, a second message comprising a configuration for the supplemental uplink corresponding to the frequency band. The UE can communicate, via the transceiver, traffic via the supplemental uplink in the frequency band, according to the configuration.

In an aspect, the discard timer can be for discarding data packets from one or more buffers. In an aspect, the one or more processors can provide the signal to the remote device.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an approach for improving energy efficiency of a wireless communication device by reducing power distributed to receiver chain circuits (RCCs) based on determining whether the incoming wireless data is to be received and processed by the RCCs within an upcoming time duration. A device can identify a plurality of RCCs for processing data to be received by the device from a network. The device can determine that a first RCC of the plurality of RCCs is to receive the data within a time duration and that a second RCC of the plurality of RCCs is to receive no data within the time duration. The device can cause, responsive to the determination, power to be reduced to the second RCC and not be reduced to the first RCC, within the time duration.
