Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotor blade attachment (17), in particular of a wind power plant (1), for the connection of a rotor blade (5) with an attachment device (4), including a transverse pin (20, 20′) and a connecting device (13, 21), which can be brought together to establish an operative connection, wherein the connecting device (13, 21) defines a longitudinal axis. The rotor blade attachment (17) is characterized in that the transverse pin (20, 21′) in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the connecting device has a higher bending stiffness than transversally to the longitudinal axis (18). An alternative rotor blade attachment (17) is characterized in that the transverse pins (20, 20′) are arranged in at least two rows (33, 34), wherein at least a first row (33) is arranged closer to the blade-root-side end (19) of the rotor blade (5) than at least a second row (34). Another rotor blade attachment (17) is characterized in that the transverse pin (20, 20′) is completely encapsulated by the rotor blade (5).
Abstract:
Waste gas, in particular from plants for the chemical vapor-phase deposition and for the separation and etching by plasma processes, is purified from toxic agents by a method in which partial processes of the purification, such as thermal decomposition and oxidation, sorption of solid and gaseous reaction products, hydrolysis and cooling, are combined to act in a single reaction chamber. The reaction products of the waste gas burnt in a flame are led, directly in the combustion chamber, through a space filled with a finely dispersed liquid. This liquid forms a liquid film on all parts and inside walls of the reaction chamber. In a combustion chamber with a burner, the mentioned liquid distribution is obtained by a spraying device. Effective purification from toxic agents, and little corrosion of the components of the reaction chamber are achieved, any growth of solid reaction products in the combustion chamber being avoided. The generation of secondary toxic agents during the combustion of the waste gas is avoided.
Abstract:
A wind energy installation includes a tower and a nacelle arranged at the top of the tower such that it can swivel in the azimuth direction. The installation also includes a plurality of cables which are guided via a loop from the tower into the nacelle, the cables being held at a distance from one another in the loop by means of rotationally fixed and loose holders. The holders each have receptacles for attachment of the cables with a predetermined circumferential separation. The holders include a lower rotationally fixed guide ring and an aligning upper loose guide ring. A loop guide is formed such that the loop is subdivided by means of the rotationally fixed lower guide ring into a curved untwisted area and an extended twisted area.

Abstract:
Disclosed and claimed is a process for selectively separating hydrogen halides from sulfur-dioxide-containing gases by using an adsorbent made from a porous ceramic support material which is impregnated with an alkaline earth metal salt solution and, after evaporation of the solvent, the alkaline earth metal salt is pyrolysed at 200.degree. to 800.degree. C. to give alkaline earth metal oxide .Xh.sub.2 O, where x is a number from 0 to 1.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotor blade for wind energy installation, comprising at least one flange running in a longitudinal direction from a rotor blade root to a rotor blade tip, whereby a width of the flange decreases along the longitudinal direction. The invention also relates to a method for producing a rotor blade in that at least one flange with a width decreasing in the longitudinal direction is applied to a rotor blade inner wall, and to a laying assistance device for positioning strips of the flange.
Abstract:
Reduction in power output or rotor speed of a wind turbine above a defined limit value, the reduction not being implemented based on the measured wind speed, but on an input value which on one hand is easily detected physically and by control technology and on the other hand is a good indicator of mechanical stresses on the wind turbine. The invention uses the rotor-blade angle as the input value in a manner that starting at the limit value, the reduction in power output or in rotor speed is adjusted as a function of the rotor-blade angle.
Abstract:
A wind turbine equipped with a tower, a nacelle rotatably mounted on the tower, a rotor rotatable at the nacelle about a rotor axis of rotation and including one rotor hub and at least one rotor blade which is coupled by a blade bearing to the rotor hub while rotatable about a blade adjustment axis. The blade bearing includes an inner ring firmly affixed to the rotor hub and an outer ring that is fitted with a toothing and that is firmly connected to the rotor blade. The rotor blade is rotatable by a blade adjustment drive including a drive motor actuating a drive pinion meshing with the outer toothing of the outer ring. On the rotor hub's side away from the nacelle, the drive pinion is configured at an angle of 10 to 30° as measured about the blade adjustment axis to a plane subtended by the rotor axis of rotation and the blade adjustment axis, and the drive motor is mounted at a distance from the rotor axis of rotation that is smaller than the distance between the drive pinion and the rotor axis of rotation.
