    摘要: This invention is a device that utilizes hydro-block venting material in various condom catheter configurations to permit adequate airflow into the catheter thereby permitting efficient and complete drainage of urine away from the user following urination by means od gravity, siphoning or pumping. In one embodiment the condom that fits on the penis is itself made of hydro-block venting material. In another embodiment the hydro-block material is placed on the proximal end of a storage bag. In yet another embodiment a retro-fit assembly containing the hydro-block venting material can be retrofitted for use with any condom catheter. Both adhesive and inflatable rings are disclosed as attachment means to secure the condom catheter to the user and prevent leakage.

In one embodiment the user's expelled urine is drawn away from the user by a pump means to a user selected storage means. In another embodiment gravity is utilized to draw the user's expelled urine away from the user to a user selected storage means. An adhesive, garment or strap attachment means are disclosed as attachment means to secure the external male and female catheter to the user and prevent leakage. The external male and female catheters each are engineered to also be able to optionally be connected to and used in combination with an indwelling catheter.

The device may be used in conjunction with a urine collection and disposal system that would be beneficial for incontinent users. In use the device forms an automatic pressure controlled topical hyperbaric oxygen chamber and further incorporates a flexible inflated tube system that is controlled by a microprocessor to relief pressure on affected areas of a user's body and provide circulation stimulating therapeutic massage. When used by incontinent persons the device automatically removes expressed urine to minimize additional risk factors known to cause or exacerbate pressure related ulcers and perineal dermatitis.

This invention utilizes a disposable urine storage bag with an isolated cleaning fluid chamber with a directional valve and pump system automatically rinsing and sanitizing the pump, hoses, collection means and the user with a cleaning fluid stored in the cleaning fluid chamber of the disposable urine storage bag. The disposable urine storage bag contains absorbent polymer crystals absorbing the urine as it is deposited in the bag during use.

    摘要: This invention relates to a Dry Running Flexible Impeller Pump and Method of Manufacture designed to provide a flexible impeller pump capable of being run dry for extended periods of time without damage. The pump's components are comprised of low friction materials limiting the heat of friction created by the impeller in use. The impeller is cast of pre-molding silicone substrate containing a quantity of mold release that will not prevent the deposition of a low friction compound coating on the surface of the impeller in a mold that is treated with a low friction industrial coating. Once the impeller is removed from the mold it is solvent cleaned, vacuum baked at a temperature high enough to drive off residual traces of mold release or compounds used to maintain the silicone substrate in suspension, and then coated with a polymer of Poly Para Xylylene by vacuum deposition.

Once the flexible impeller is removed from the mold it is cleaned with alcohol, baked in a vacuum at a temperature of at least 100° C., and then coated with a Paralene N coating by vacuum deposition.
