摘要: A fine pitch test clip is provided, which assures accurate alignment of the test lead contacts with the IC (integrated circuit) device leads. The test clip includes a center for lying over the IC body and four arms (e.g. 41 in FIG. 4 ) pivotally mounted on the center, with each arm including a row of contacts (52) mounted in the arm housing. Lower portions of the contacts, which engage the IC device leads (30), are separated by barriers of the housing with endmost barriers (106, 108) being positioned so they can engage the endmost leads (30E) of the IC device to assure alignment of the lower contact portions with the IC device leads. A rigid board (204, FIG. 11) with connectors (211-214) thereon is mounted on the center of the test clip frame, above the arms, and flexible resilient circuit boards (231-234) each extend in a horizontal loop between the top of the contacts that lie at the top of an arm, to the rigid board where they are coupled to terminals of one of the connectors on the rigid board.

摘要: A locking component (100,200,300,400) for locking a catheter proximal end onto a stem (16,56) of a medical device. The locking component has upper and lower parts (104,102;204,202) that self-secure to each other, preferably in a first position partially open but still assembled, and a second position, locked fully together. The locking component has a compression surface (106,206) to compress the catheter lumen wall against the stem at a location axially offset from the protuberance(s) along the stem of the medical device. A method is disclosed for mechanically securing a catheter to a medical device that can involve placing the pre-assembled locking component along the catheter prior to securing the proximal catheter end to the stem of the medical device and then moving the locking component into position around the stem and then pressing it together into its second locked position, compressing the catheter lumen wall against the stem.

摘要: A beverage can shaped grill with a hollow cylindrical member that is proportional and similar in shape to the sides of a standard twelve ounce metal beverage can and a fixedly attached plate forming a bottom portion for the cylindrical shape. A hinged top member forms a first grill cover that is proportional and similar in shape to the top of a standard twelve ounce beverage can. The first grill cover can be rotated opened to form a table top. A second grill cover is stored within the cylinder shape and is used during grilling. The interior of the cylindrical shape houses a standard gas grill and standard gas tank as well as standard flame controlling knobs. The outside of the cylinder is printed with a graphic image that is found on outer surface of a particular brand of beverage.

The syringe further includes a closure plug (13,213) to be associated with the lumen being treated, which is coupled, by virtue of a releasable securement arrangement, to support structure (15,215). At least one plunger (16;116a,116b;216) is also included for infusing, in preset order, the different treatment liquids into the lumen to be treated, and the syringe further includes a duct (17,217) which is in fluid communication with the two compartments and is arranged through a through hole through the closure plug (13,213) in order to allow access of the treatment liquid to the interior of the lumen (L,283) upon activation of the plunger.

摘要: A tearaway introducer sheath assembly (100,200) having an integrated valve (300). The valve is seated within a valve housing (222) defined by the hub portion (200) of the sheath (200). The valve (300) includes a pair of distally extending opposed side walls or flaps (324) extending to converge at a distal tip (328) having a virtual opening (334) therethrough. The valve further includes a pair of tensioners (340) along outer surfaces of the opposed side walls (324) that extend radially outwardly to engage and bear against the interior valve housing surface (230) to press the opposed side walls (324) together at the distal tip (328) for sealing, both when a dilator extends through the valve and sheath and afterward upon removal of the dilator.

The valve (150) is of the elongated duckbill type and having a slit (158) almost completely across the distal end wall (154) such that two diverging sides (156) of the distal valve portion may be moved apart during insertion therethrough of a dilator or a catheter. A two-part cap (180) is affixed to the hub proximal end (120) and traps a seating flange (168) of the valve between itself and a seating groove (136) of the hub. Pairs of opposed gaps (184,122) of the cap (180) and the hub (110) are aligned with frangible sections or seams (108) of the sheath tube (102) and frangible sections (172) and slits (166) of the valve, facilitating splitting of the assembly (100) when desired by the practitioner to peel it away from the inserted catheter.

摘要: An implantable venous access port for a catheter. The port assembly (100) includes a body (102), a septum (134) for needle insertion, a discharge port (150) having a passageway (154) and to which a catheter proximal end (202) is connected, and a proximal port (170) with a proximal passageway (172,116) that is in line with the discharge port passageway (154). A chamber (118) of the port body (102) fluidly connects the proximal port passageway and the discharge port passageway, and a proximal septum (174) traverses and seals the proximal passageway (172,116). An entry cannula (190) is insertable into the proximal opening and penetrates the proximal septum (174) and extends to the discharge port passageway (154) enabling a guide wire (198) to be inserted therethrough after the port (100) has been connected to the catheter (200), whereafter the entire assembly is implantable into a patient over the guide wire. A method of over-the-wire venous port placement is disclosed, and also a method for assembling the port.
