    摘要: Disclosed is a powder consisting of particles of a cured fluoro-silicone rubber having a specified average particle diameter and a specified rubber hardness. The fluorosilicone rubber has a siloxane composition consisting of three types of units expressed by the unit formulas of [R1R2SiO2/2], [R22SiO2/2] and [R23SiO1/2], in which R1 is preferably a 3,3,3-trifluoropropyl group and R2 is preferably a methyl group, in such a proportion that the molar ratio of R1:(R1+R2) is in the range from 0.05 to 0.5. The powder is useful as an ingredient in a cosmetic or toiletry preparation to effect improved sustainability of the cosmetic finish and decreased unevenness of coloring on human skin.

    摘要: The synthesis and characterization of novel higher order, multi-arm star polymers comprising polyisobutylene arms connected to condensed cyclosiloxane cores are described. The synthesis has been achieved by hydrosilating olefin-capped (e.g., allyl- or isopropenyl-terminated) polyisobutylene with hydrogencyclosiloxanes carrying a plurality of Si--H groups and simultaneously and competitively converting SiH functions, in the presence of moisture, to Si--OH groups to rapidly self-condense or react with SiH groups to form coupled cyclosiloxane cores via core-core coupling. Thus, higher order stars having many more arms than first order stars can be formed.

    摘要: The silicone rubber composition of the present invention is characterized by using a diorganopolysiloxane having an average degree of polymerization of 3,000 to 30,000 in combination with a low-molecular weight of phenyl-group-containing organopolysiloxane having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a phenyl group, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represent a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and n is 1 or 2.The composition can form a vulcanized molded item having excellent properties such as excellent storage stability, heat resistance, and fire resistance without causing blooming.

    摘要: A silicone rubber composition that will be cured using as catalyst a platinum family metal and an organic peroxide, comprising as its constituent component an organosilizane compound represented by the following general formula:(R.sup.2).sub.3 SiNH(R.sup.3 R.sup.4 SiO).sub.n R.sup.3 R.sup.4 SiNHSi(R.sup.2).sub.3wherein R.sup.2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, which may be the same or different, each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n is an integer of 2 to 20. Even if a large amount of a silica filler is blended in this silicone rubber composition, the silicone rubber composition is excellent in that it has suitable plasticity and is low in crepe hardening and good in workability such as rollability and extrudability.
