摘要: A fastening method for fastening using a fastener having a fastener pin and a collar. The method includes a mounting step in which, in a state in which a head portion of the fastener pin is positioned on one side of the portion to be fastened through which the fastener pin is passed, and a lock portion of the fastener pin is positioned on the other side of the portion to be fastened, the collar is mounted onto lock grooves. The method includes a fastening step in which, on the basis of an un-swaged portion height derived from the thickness of the portion to be fastened, the collar is swaged onto the lock grooves and the portion to be fastened is fastened.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to, after a through-hole is formed in a plurality of members between which a sealant is applied, rapidly and easily remove the sealant flowing into the through-hole. This through-hole forming method is provided with: a step (S2) in which a cutting tool rotates about the axis thereof, thereby forming a through-hole in a plurality of members between which a sealant is provided; and a step (S4) in which after the through-hole is formed, the cutting tool continues the rotation about the axis thereof for a predetermined time or a predetermined number of rotations, thereby removing the sealant flowing into the through-hole.

摘要: A swaging tool in which the pinhead of a fastening pin is positioned on one plate of a pair of plates through which the fastening pin is passed, the pintail of the fastening pin is positioned on the other plate, a collar mounted on the pintail side of the fastening pin is moved to the pinhead side so as to be brought into contact with the plate, the collar is swaged to the fastening pin in the state of contact with the plate, and a tensile load is applied to the pintail to break and remove the pintail, whereby the pair of plates are fastened; wherein the tool is provided with a swage die in which there is formed a swaging hole that is brought into contact with the collar to swage the collar, a low-friction coating film being formed on the inner peripheral surface of the swaging hole.

摘要: Provided is a swaging device including: an upper anvil that is disposed in a state in which the upper anvil faces an end surface of a head of a rivet; a lower anvil that is disposed in a state in which the lower anvil faces an end surface of a shaft portion of the rivet; and a pressurizing mechanism that generates a pressurizing force of causing a distance between the upper anvil and the lower anvil along an axial line to decrease and plastically deforms the rivet, in which an end surface of the upper anvil includes a bottom surface that perpendicularly intersects the axial line X and a support surface that has a projecting length in a direction of the axial line with respect to the bottom surface gradually increasing from an inner circumferential side toward an outer circumferential side in the radial direction formed therein, and an inclination angle of the support surface is smaller than an inclination angle of the inclined surface of the rivet by a predetermined angle.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a viscous material application apparatus capable of reliably applying an appropriate amount of a viscous material to a shaft-shaped member. A seal application apparatus (1) is provided with a flexible tubular nozzle (2), which is capable of discharging a sealing agent from an opening (6) formed on the tip thereof, and an actuator (3) for moving the nozzle (2). After or during discharge of the sealing agent by the nozzle (2), the tip of the nozzle (2) moves in the circumferential direction along the outer circumferential surface of a fastener (20), and as the nozzle (2) is stopping the discharge of the sealing agent, the tip of the nozzle (2) moves in a direction away from the outer circumferential surface of the fastener (20).
