Abstract: A method is disclosed for administering medication to conscious or unconscious patients using a device with a tubular chamber. The method involves the use of a device with a tubular chamber, wherein a liquid medication is contained within a capsule. The medication is atomized by activating an atomizer, thereby generating an atomized medication consisting of particles with a maximum diameter of four microns. The atomized medication is then dispensed into the tubular chamber. Using the device, the atomized medication is administered to the patient. In cases of unconsciousness, a resilient air bladder connected to the chamber is partially deflated, allowing air transfer into the chamber. This facilitates the administration of the atomized medication. This method enables effective medication delivery in various emergency scenarios, ensuring appropriate treatment even for unresponsive patients by providing a method of using a device with modular components.

Abstract: Methods and systems for delivering formulations to users using modular device having atomizer and wick assembly are disclosed. A formulation delivery system that includes a mouthpiece with a first attaching structure at one end and a removable cartridge with a second attaching structure that connects to the mouthpiece. The removable cartridge houses an atomizer at its first end and features a wick assembly with a removable cap and a wick made from an absorbent material. The wick, which transports fluid to the atomizer, is connected at one end to the removable cap and at the other end abuts the atomizer. The system also includes a channel within the removable cartridge; this channel extends to the cartridge's first end and houses the wick, while the removable cap is located outside the channel. Additionally, the system incorporates electronics that maintain a removable electrical connection with the cartridge.

Abstract: A method for veterinary administration of medication to an animal, particularly a horse, is disclosed. The method involves inserting a capsule containing the medication, which is a liquid formulation, into a device connected to a tubular chamber. An atomizer is activated to atomize the medication, producing atomized medication. Before administration, a force is applied to a mask placed over the animal's muzzle, connected to the chamber. The atomized medication is then delivered to the animal. The liquid formulation, in some instances, comprises cells, cellular byproducts, or cell-derived products such as stem cells or products from human mesenchymal stem cells. This formulation may lack preservatives and may encompass peptides, proteins, growth factors, cytokines, exosomes, and extracellular vesicles. The delivery mechanism may involve deflating an air bladder to convey the atomized medication. The capsule allows for controlled transfer of the medication between chambers within it, facilitated by removing barriers and applying force.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and systems for delivery and administration of pharmaceutical, therapeutic and cosmetic substances to users. The method includes providing a removable capsule having an atomizer, inserting the removable capsule in a channel of a base unit of a device. The channel is in fluid communication with a mixing chamber of the base unit, and the base unit defines openings on the base unit configured to receive a portion of a conduit and a removable air mover unit. Further, the method includes dispensing, using the atomizer, the at least one medication from the removable capsule to the mixing chamber of the base unit, and using the removable air mover unit, causing air and the at least one medication within the mixing chamber to be conveyed from the mixing chamber to the conduit such that air and the at least one medication dispensed from the removable capsule exits the conduit.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a capsule system for use with a medical device designed to administer atomized medication to patients. The system features a chamber containing the medication and an atomizer at a lower end for efficient drug delivery. Notably, the system incorporates a fluid sensor and electrical contacts to ensure proper operation and medication delivery. The capsule's design includes a housing with an asymmetrical transverse cross-sectional shape for unique fitting, and a tapered wall to direct medication towards the atomizer. The capsule may also connect to an external container or include a stopper for refilling medication. A specific embodiment features two chambers with a rupturing element to facilitate medication transfer. Another embodiment includes a removable container, like a vial, within the first chamber. This novel system provides improvements in accuracy, versatility, and user-friendliness, overcoming limitations in prior art.

Abstract: A system for administering at least one medication to a patient is disclosed. The system includes a resilient air bladder in fluid communication with a tubular chamber of a base unit, a capsule in fluid communication with the tubular chamber configured for carrying the at least one medication, and an atomizer disposed at least proximate to the capsule and in fluid communication with the tubular chamber. An air inlet and a first one-way valve is in fluid communication with the resilient air bladder configured to allow fresh air to enter the resilient air bladder. An air outlet and a second one-way value is in fluid communication the resilient air bladder and the tubular chamber. Fresh air and the medication atomized by the atomizer mix together within the tubular chamber.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition and method for treating opioid overdose, opioid dependency, and xylazine exposure is disclosed, utilizing an aqueous solution of sodium chloride. This solution contains active ingredients such as naloxone and yohimbine in specific concentrations, with naloxone targeting opioid overdose and yohimbine aimed at counteracting xylazine effects. In various embodiments, additional components like tolazoline and different buffers can be included. The disclosure introduces a unique delivery system that features a capsule with a vibrating mesh atomizer for efficient administration. Specifically, for yohimbine, a dual-reservoir capsule design facilitates controlled mixing with diluents or buffers. The administration of this pharmaceutical composition can be achieved through multiple methods, including intramuscular, intravenous, and atomized routes. The atomizing device incorporates a removable cap and a resilient air bladder, ensuring effective drug delivery. This system offers precision and adaptability in treating conditions related to opioid overdose, dependency, and xylazine exposure.
