Abstract:
Examples of a metal-frame slot antenna with one or more matching circuits and apparatus thereof are described. A slot antenna may include a metallic frame, which may include a primary sheet with plural peripheral sides surrounding the primary sheet. The metallic frame may also include at least one slot. Each slot of the at least one slot may extend along one or more peripheral sides of the plural peripheral sides of the metallic frame such that the plural peripheral sides of the metallic frame are continuous without an opening. The at least one slot may include a first slot which may be generally U-shaped or contiguous along at least three peripheral sides of the plural peripheral sides.
Abstract:
The invention provides an antenna for a wireless device, e.g., a cellular phone for wireless mobile telecommunication. The antenna includes a conductive feed strip and a conductive ground component. The ground component is for connecting a ground voltage, and comprises a portion along a surface of the device. The feed strip has a feed port for relaying a feed signal, and does not physically contact the ground component, so as to feed the ground component by noncontact electrical coupling, instead of physical contact.
Abstract:
A hybrid antenna includes a dielectric substrate and a stamping element. The stamping element includes a main radiator, a first holder, a second holder, a feeding element, and an extension branch. The main radiator is substantially disposed above the dielectric substrate. The first holder is coupled to a first end of the main radiator. The second holder is coupled to a second end of the main radiator. The feeding element is coupled to a signal source. The extension branch is substantially disposed below the dielectric substrate, and is coupled between the second holder and the feeding element.
