    Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) front-end circuit has a multi-way switch, an output terminal, and a shunt circuit. The multi-way switch has an input end, a plurality of output ends, and a control end. The input end is coupled to an antenna for receiving a radio frequency signal from the antenna. The control end is used to couple the input end to one of the output ends according to a switch control signal. The shunt circuit is coupled between the multi-way switch and the output terminal to provide one of shunt paths according to the switch control signal. The shunt paths correspond to different amounts of rejection to the radio frequency signal.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices and methods to reduce unwanted CIMS emission in a wireless communication device, such that the transmit (TX) power level applied in a RU can be increased without exceeding a regulatory emission requirement. In some aspects, unwanted emission may be reduced by shifting or changing local oscillator (LO) frequencies during TX operation. Some embodiments are directed to a fast-locking PLL with adjustable bandwidth that can be controlled to increase the PLL bandwidth during the RX to TX transition to provide a fast locking to a new LO frequency. Some aspects are directed to configuring an LO frequency shift amount for different RUs when multiple RUs are allocated within a frequency band.

    Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus includes a channel estimation circuit, a beamforming control circuit, and a transmit (TX) circuit. The channel estimation circuit estimates a channel between the wireless communication apparatus and another wireless communication apparatus during at least one first time slot. The beamforming control circuit determines beamforming coefficients according to the estimated channel. The TX circuit applies the beamforming coefficients to transmission of an output data during at least one second time slot later than the at least one first time slot. During the at least one second time slot, the output data is transmitted to another wireless communication apparatus via multiple antennae. The wireless communication apparatus performs communications according to a normal frequency hopping sequence in compliance with a communication specification.
