Abstract: A video encoding apparatus includes a content activity analyzer circuit and a video encoder circuit. The content activity analyzer circuit applies a content activity analysis process to consecutive frames, to generate content activity analysis results. The consecutive frames are derived from input frames of the video encoding apparatus. The content activity analysis process includes: deriving a first content activity analysis result according to a first frame and a second frame in the consecutive frames, wherein the first content activity analysis result includes a processed frame distinct from the second frame; and deriving a second content activity analysis result according to a third frame included in the consecutive frames and the processed frame. The video encoder circuit performs a video encoding process to generate a bitstream output of the video encoding apparatus, wherein information derived from the content activity analysis results is referenced by the video encoding process.

Abstract: A camera device is provided. The camera device includes: a first imaging section, a second imaging section, a third imaging section, and a processor. Abstract: A dual-camera device is provided. The dual-camera device includes wide and telephoto imaging sections with respective lens/sensor combinations, and a processor. The wide and telephoto imaging sections provide wide image data and telephoto image data, respectively. At least one misalignment error exists between the wide and telephoto imaging sections. The processor generates an output image provided with a smooth transition when switching between a lower zooming factor and a higher zooming factor. The processor warps the wide image data using a portion of the misalignment error to generate base wide image data, and warps the telephoto image data using the remaining portion of the misalignment error to generate base telephoto image data. The processor generates the output image using the base wide image data at the lower zooming factor, and generates the output image using the base telephoto image data at the higher zooming factor.
