Abstract:
A polymer P for prolonging the flowability of water-reduced aqueous hydraulically setting compositions, and a method for prolonging the flowability of water-reduced aqueous hydraulically setting compositions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing comb polymers, wherein at least one polycarboxylic acid or a salt thereof is esterified with at least one monohydroxy polyether, comprising the following steps: (a) preparing a reaction mixture containing at least one polycarboxylic acid; (b) heating the reaction mixture to at least 80° C.; (c) adding a base; and (d) esterifying the mixture at a reaction temperature of at least 80° C. obtaining a comb polymer, wherein at least one monohydroxy polyether is added to the reaction mixture in step (a) and/or (b). The invention further relates to comb polymers, cement compositions, molded bodies, and uses of comb polymers.
Abstract:
The invention relates to comb polymers of maleic acid or derivatives thereof, allyl ethers and (meth)acrylic acid or derivatives thereof, and to the preparation thereof by free radical polymerization at a reaction temperature of 10° C. to 50° C. The invention further relates to the use of such comb polymers for improving the processability of hydraulically setting compositions.

Abstract:
The invention relates to comb polymers made from maleic acid or derivatives thereof, allyl ethers, and vinyl acetate, and the preparation thereof by free-radical polymerization at a reaction temperature of 10° C. to 50° C. The invention relates further to the use of such comb polymers to improve the workability of hydraulically setting compositions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mono-substituted phosphinic acid and to the use thereof as a regulator in radical polymerization. Such regulators do not result in the formation of poorly soluble salts, and in addition, the polymers produced with the regulators according to the invention are characterized by a uniform polymerization degree having a narrow size distribution. In addition, the invention relates to a method for producing such mono-substituted phosphinic acids.

Abstract:
Comb polymers having carboxyl/carboxylate and ester groups, containing a) 0.1-0.9 mol fractions of a partial structural unit S1, which is derived from an acrylic/methacrylic or maleic acid unit, b) 0-0.4 mol fractions of a partial structural unit S2, which is derived, for example, from an acrylic/methacrylic or maleic acid unit, which is esterified by means of a C1 to C20-alkanol or a polyalkylene glycol, alkyl-capped on one end, preferably a polyethylene glycol, and c) 0.1-0.4 mol fractions of a partial structural unit S3, which is derived from an acrylic/methacrylic or maleic acid unit, which is esterified by means of a polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ether, which has a terminal, secondary hydroxyl group of the form-CH(R3)OH, wherein R3 is bulky alkyl group, preferably a methyl group.
