A method, device, and system for polarization division multiplexing (PDM) and polarization division demultiplexing are provided in the field of communication and transmission. The device for polarization division demultiplexing includes a polarization controller (PC), a polarization beam splitter (PBS), a detection control module, an optoelectronic receiver 1, and an optoelectronic receiver 2. The PC is adapted to receive a PDM optical signal carrying an identification signal and perform polarization control on the PDM optical signal. The PBS is adapted to perform polarization division on the PDM optical signal carrying the identification signal after the polarization control. The detection control module is adapted to perform identification signal detection on the optical signal after the polarization division to obtain a power of the identification signal, and output a polarization control signal to control the PC according to a power change of the identification signal. The optoelectronic receiver 1 and the optoelectronic receiver 2 are adapted to perform demodulation reception on an X-polarization branch optical signal and a Y-polarization branch optical signal respectively to obtain a first original signal and a second original signal. Thereby, during polarization division demultiplexing, reversal of two demultiplexed polarization branches is effectively avoided.

A method for channel protection switching of an optical network device, an Optical Transport Network (OTN) device, and a Passive Optical Network (PON) device is provided. The method includes detecting, by the PON device, whether an OTN alarm indication signal is received after discovering a fault. If the OTN alarm indication signal is received, the alarm generated by the PON device is suppressed so that the PON device does not perform channel protection switching. The PON device detects whether an OTN alarm indication signal is received, and suppresses the alarm generated by the PON device so that the PON does not generate futile alarms or lead to futile switching when the OTN fails but the PON works normally.

A method, an apparatus, and a system for feedback control of a coherent receiver are provided. The method for feedback control of the coherent receiver includes: obtaining a feedback control quantity according to a digital signal converted by an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC); and adjusting a signal amplitude output by a Transimpedance Amplifier (TIA) and a direct current component of an offset T device according to the feedback control quantity, until an analog signal input into the ADC is in a sampling range of the ADC, where the TIA is serially connected to the offset T device and then is connected to the ADC. Present invention has the following advantages: enabling the analog signal to adapt to the ADC sampling best, maximizing an effective information quantity sampled by the ADC and better supporting subsequent processing of a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) unit, thereby improving a coherent receiving performance.

A ranging method and system for passive optical network, and an optical network unit are provided. The ranging method includes: sending an initial ranging signal to a splitter loop-back device and recording a current sending time as a first time; receiving a loop-back ranging signal from the splitter loop-back device, and determining whether the loop-back ranging signal is a return signal of the initial ranging signal; if the loop-back ranging signal is a return signal of the initial ranging signal, recording a current receiving time as a second time; and obtaining ranging information by calculating a difference between the first time and the second time, and performing a ranging on the basis of the ranging information.

A method for recovering an OTUk frame includes: receiving an optical signal sent by using a method of multi-lane distribution from the OTUk frame to an interface of an optical module; converting the optical signal into an electrical signal, performing electrical equalization and demodulation on the electrical signal, and recovering multi-lane data from the demodulated signal; aligning and rearranging the data on each lane, according to a lane sequence identifier included in an overhead frame header of the data on each lane; and recovering the OTUk frame according to the aligned and rearranged data. According to the present invention, lane rearrangement is performed by detecting the lane sequence identifier, and the recovery of the OTUk frame is achieved. Therefore, a training sequence overhead does not need to be additionally introduced, and the influence on the system performance is avoided.
