    摘要: Embodiments relate to a device and method for protecting an electrical system component of a vehicle electrical system. The device comprises a semiconductor switch connected to the electrical system component. A circuit connected to the semiconductor switch comprises a detection unit for detecting an electrical malfunction of the vehicle electrical system and an activation unit for activating the semiconductor switch. A control unit communicatively connected to the circuit is configured to switch the semiconductor switch into a first safe state, in which the semiconductor switch is switched off, based on the detection of an electrical malfunction, and to selectively switch the semiconductor switch into the first safe state or into a second safe state, in which the semiconductor switch is switched on, based on at least one predetermined vehicle state.

    摘要: The present disclosure includes an electronic circuit breaker for an electrical load in and on-board electrical system of a motor vehicle. The electronic circuit breaker includes a shunt resistor connected at its input side to an input (E) of the electronic circuit breaker, a controllable switching element coupled at its input side to an output of the shunt resistor and at its output side to an output (A) of the electronic circuit breaker, the output being connectable to the electrical load, and a control input (gate). The electronic circuit breaker also includes a voltage detector and a hold element coupled to the voltage detector and configured to hold the control signal in a switched off (out) state when the controllable switching element has switched off the electrical load.

    摘要: A power supply system for safety-relevant systems in a motor vehicle is provided that includes a first supply path and a second supply path. The first supply path includes a first connection point for a first voltage source, one or more first supply points for a safety-relevant load, and a first fuse between the first connection point and the first supply point. The second supply path is electrically coupled to the first supply path and includes a second connection point for a second voltage source, one or more second supply points for the safety-relevant load, and an electronic second fuse coupled between the second connection point and the second supply point. The safety-relevant load is capable of being electrically coupled to both the first and second supply point. Disconnecting elements are provided to isolate a fault in conformity with ASIL B.
