摘要: A reactor includes a reactor vessel and one or more reaction tubes A number of tube sections of the one or more reaction tubes in each case run between a first region and a second region in the reactor vessel. For the electrical heating of the tube sections, the tube sections in the first region can be electrically connected to (a) current connection(s) of a current source. In the first region, current feed arrangements are provided; in each case one or in each case one group of the tube sections are electrically connected, and each comprise (a) contact passage(s) that in each case adjoin(s) at least one of the tube sections in the first region. A wall of the contact passages in each case is connected to a current feed element that has a rod-shaped section that runs at a wall passage through a wall of the reactor vessel.

Each group is paired with a first and a second star bridge.

摘要: A reactor for carrying out a chemical reaction using multiphase alternating current, includes a reactor chamber surrounded by thermally insulating reactor walls and multiple substantially straight reaction tubes. The reaction tubes run between at least one tube inlet opening and at least one tube outlet opening in opposite reactor walls and consist of a material that permits electrical resistance heating. Two electrically conductive bridges spaced apart along the reaction tubes are provided, each of which electrically conductively connects the reaction tubes to one another. Electrically conductive power input arrangements are provided extending through one or more input openings in one of the reactor walls. Each reaction tube is electrically conductively connected to one of the power input arrangements. Each power input arrangement is electrically conductively connected between the bridges to one of the reaction tubes and is connected or connectable to one of the phases of the alternating current.

In the at least one power source, a star point is formed at which the phase lines of the power source are connected, wherein the star point is not connected to a ground connection.

Tube sections in the second region are electrically and conductively connected to one another as a whole by means of a single rigid connecting element, or in groups by means of a plurality of rigid connecting elements which are integrally connected to the reaction tubes and are arranged inside the reactor vessel. A corresponding method is also the subject-matter of the present invention.

Each current feed arrangement has a first and a second section, the first section extending along a longitudinal axis starting from the respective or group of tube section(s). The first section at least partially surrounds the second section or the second section surrounds the first section in a sleeve-like manner. The first and second sections each have contact surfaces arranged obliquely to the longitudinal axis. The current feed arrangements each extend through a wall of the reactor vessel.
